Colorful Leaves Macro

For a few weeks at the end of summer and going into the fall, we have all seen how the leaves change colors. It's a great time for photography; I saw that it is almost always a great time for it, but I think the colors that start to appear on these leaves are a real sight to behold when you can get up close with a macro lens. The red, orange, and yellow mixture can be quite vibrant as the greens give way to this before eventually turning to a more dullish gray. Somewhat like a fleeting sunset or sunrise, it's nice to have a bit more time with this subject and to be able to pick it up and observe it without having to rush.
