Another Day Another Damselfly

I spotted this damselfly among the flowers, hard at work. Looks like it was enjoying some nectar as it hovered and then began to cling to the flower. The nectar is food, and the high-energy treat helps this insect maintain its energy and keep those wings fueled up for some future adventures. So if you want to have some damselflies around, planting some flowers will give them a place to help sustain their lifestyle and come for a visit.
