Hoverflies are tiny little bugs that have a pattern similar to bees or wasps but are substantially smaller and don't really have a stinger to worry about. Usually you can spot them hovering in one spot, which really sets them apart from other flying bugs. They almost look like they have a plastic shell similar to that of a wasp and also have the large eyes of a bee. When I spot one, I really enjoy getting photos, as they are so tiny that it's a fun challenge to make them seem larger than life.
