One of the best sunset Ive seen in my life 🌅

During the two months I stayed in Campeche, my friend and his wife took me to many places. The photo is from a hilltop overlooking the city of Campeche, where we were able to see the old town. The Cathedral of Campeche in the old town was beautifully illuminated, and as the sun went down, the lights became brighter and brighter. The light of the setting sun changed from moment to moment, and the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico was fantastic and truly beautiful.

カンペチェで滞在した2ヶ月の間は本当に色々な所に友人夫妻に連れて行ってもらいました。 写真はカンペチェ市内が一望できる高台で、旧市街もみることができました。 旧市街にある、カンペチェ大聖堂もきれいにライトアップされ、日没になるにつれ鮮やかに光が浮かび上がりました。刻々と夕日の光が代わり、メキシコ湾に沈む太陽は幻想的で、本当に美しくしかったです。

On the hill, there is a statue of President Benito Juárez, the first genuine Mexican born, raised, and associated with Mexico to become president. This president is special to Mexicans, and he looks down on Campeche from the hill. We all sat under the huge statue of him this adored Mexican president and watched the beautiful view of the ever-changing sunset.

We all sat under the huge statue of this adored Mexican president and watched the beautiful view of the ever-changing sunset.

高台には初めてメキシコで生まれ、メキシコで育ち、メキシコにゆかりのある生粋のメキシコ人が初めて大統領になったのが、Benito Juárez大統領です。メキシコ人にとってこの大統領は特別で、高台に悠々とカンペチェを見下ろしています。メキシコで慕われる大統領である、その巨大な銅像の下に座り、刻々と変わる日没の美しい景色を皆で眺めました。

We came home and had dinner together, all of us together. My friend made this black bean soup and pork stew, which has become one of my favorites, and we also shared a meal with two of WorkAway's volunteers. They made lime juice with the limes that my friend's mother-in-law cut up so many. The saltiness of this pork stew tasted so good after the work of cultivating the land on the farm, and the acidity of this lime juice blew away my fatigue.

家に帰って来て、一緒にみんなで食事をしました。この日も友人が作ってくれたのですが、この黒豆のスープと豚肉のシチューは私の好物になりました。WorkAwayのボランティアの2人とも一緒に食事をしました。友人の義理のママがたくさん切ってくれたライムを使ってライムジュースを作りました。牧場での開墾作業の後はこの豚肉シチューの塩気がすごく美味しく、そして、このライムジュースの酸味は疲れを吹き飛ばしてくれました。

Finally, I would like to introduce this bakery lady. When I went to Mexico to visit, I could not speak Spanish at all. I went there almost every day and was able to understand a little bit of what she was saying in Spanish. She is a kind lady who spoke slowly and spoke with gestures. I hope she is doing well. And, she also is a reason why Ive started learning Spanish on Duolinguo when I have free time. Well, next time I visit Campeche, I hope that I will be able to speak some Spanish 😊👍

最後にこのパン屋のおばちゃんを紹介します。私はメキシコに遊びに行ったとき、全くスペイン語が話せませんでした。そんな中、ほぼ毎日行って、少しだけスペイン語で何を言ってるのかがわかったのがこのパン屋のおばちゃんです。ゆっくりしゃべってくれて、ジェスチャーをふまえて話してくれた優しいおばちゃんです。元気にしてるかなぁ。
