Hello travelers,

This wonderful place is located in Turia, Covasna, near Lake Sf. Ana and it is sourounded by mountains and green forests. The air is really clean and fresh! The views are amazing, same as nature! 🌲🌲

This hotel resort is really really fancy, equipped with everythig one family can need.

Is ideal for couples, singles or families with kids.
They have a few buildings but the main building is the hotel. There are a few apartments and villas too.

Accomodation

We stayed at the main hotel everytime called Grand Hotel Balvanyos, in a Superior Double Room, the best room possible.
It costs around 140$/night.
We came here two times already and actually, I'm in the car now, heading to this place again for the third time. 💙😁

All rooms are equipped with coffee maker, fridge, vault, AC, TV.
You can chose a standard room or a superior room.

The superior room has a balcony with a view over the forest and its a bit larger.

I added a lot of photos (a loooooooooot) so I'm gonna try comment on them.

Balcony view is what we love the most. We love to spend time in the balcony, even though we dont smoke or something. I love to admire the landscape, to have a coffee or a juice something. I love to read here, Caleb was always happy to bring his toys in here and play around us.
Its all about Relax time.

The rooms have a desk, as you can see in the pictures below. The bed is queen size, two lamps on every bedside.
I love the design of these rooms. Its a mix of modern with rustic elements, that makes it calm and relaxing.
There are light spots on the ceiling, those have a cool effect.

The bed is comfi, I'm telling you. We are picky when it comes to comfort beds. These are super comfi.
There is also a chair and a little sofa. You can have an extra bed for kids if needed, no fees.

The bathroom is also clean, equipped with everything you need.
They change your bed sheets and towels every day if you want and they arent noisy or disturbing.

Both me and kid were reading here.
I was reading a book of Wim Hof, he promotes the ice and cold baths.
@taliakerch actually wrote a post about it, and yes, Talia, I am someone who studied and got into W.H's method. Surprisee! 😁🤗🤗

We had a lot of fun playing Activity game with our friends. Omg, it was so so fun! Its in my luggage again this year, in case we find time and mood to play and get like kids. 😅

Entrance area

The entrance lobby is very nice, with a huge space for waiting and checking in. You'll find a coffee shop, where you'll find everything you need like water, fresh juice, soda drinks, cakes, cigarettes, alchoholic drinks etc.
There's an ATM too, right at the entrance.

Outside

There's a huge wall near the hotel, very nice looking. Also very practical. Behind that wall, we saw bears when we were here in summer.

The parking lot is huge, is really big. I think every tourist has a parking lot available. We found parkig every time.

There's a nice suspended terrace outside, in front of the hotel, where you can have a drink, admire the beauty of this place.
It has a glass railing, which makes it even more cool.

These photos are taken in summer.
You can see how green is everything.

They have a small garden with arromatic plants and more.

There's a sign saying "Watch the bears" and this sign is really something to consider! We have seen many bears in just 4 days when we were here in summer. They were near the parking lot, it was a bit scary.

My husband wanted to go one night to the car to bring something we forgot and the lady from the reception said: "I wouldnt recommend you going right now, there are bears in the night. Can you wait until morning?" 🐻😨

Here is a photo taken from the balcony, you'll see a family of bears. A mom with 3 cubs. 🐻🐻🐻

There is also an Adventure Park, really nice for kids.

Spa Zone

The Spa Zone is amazing, really clean. They clean it every 2 hours, there is a 15min time off from the spa, when they make this place clean.

You can chose to have a massage or a beauty treatment as well.
They have many massages, using different techniques.

Grand Santerra Spa its called the are with pools and treatments.

The spa zone has 3 saunas, one pool for kids, 2 indoor thermal pools, one big swimming pool, 1 thermal pool outside and a jacuzzi outside.

Also they have a gym, a salt room and a minibar near the pool.

They also have this nice zone where you go through a series of shower called Tropical shower. First its warm water then cold water and two more , but I dont remember. I cant wait to pay them a visit today. 😉😍🤣

The sunbeds are nice and comfi. You'll get clean towels every time, based on your room access card.

The kids pool is nice, with warm water.
It is somehow split in two, with different water levels. For small babies and toddlers/preschool aged kids, lets say.

This is outside, the pool is really nice and hot. The cold air and hot pool effect is the coolest and makes it magical in winter days.

Thats the jacuzzi there, not to big but what I like the most is that this place is not that crowded as you imagine. There's always room to everything here.

This is the massage and beauty treatemnts area.

I was doing a massage and some beauty body scrub and wrap.
They served me with lemonade and i had to wait for 10 minutes in a very nice and relaxation area.

From 19.00 kids are not allowed anymore at the pool.
Its called "Quiet Time". The ambient is very nice, quite, low light.
I'm really exciting about this because today will be the first time without kids. Hehe and I can relax properly.

Food and Restaurants

Breakfast is free. It is delicious, bouffee style. It has a lot of food, the diversity is huge and the quality of foods is high.
Their cappucino is delicious.

They have a lobby for breakfast and also it turns into a dining area at night, where you can have dinner.

There is also another restaurant, The Fork, 1 minute away from the restaurant.
We went to both. They're ok, I dont have any complains. Some dishes are insanely good, other are OK.

The view from the food area is nice too. I love to stay at the window and admire the forest landscape.

These upcoming pictures are taken at Fork restaurant.
They are more on grilled food, meat or wild meat. But they serve salads too, pizzas, everything.

Their terrace is nice, it looks very fancy.

As I said before, the resort is close to St. Anne Lake. We went there in an afternoon. Amazing time!
