For the hungry King
Hello dear #foodies and #cooking friends!
According to a legend, tortillas were invented by a Mayan peasant for his hungry king.
My personal king in the house was also hungry.
Tortilla means something like "little cake".
The first thing was to prepare small bowls with vegetables.
Here we have parsley, onions, radishes and tomatoes.
Here we continue with green peppers, mushrooms, hot peppers, spinach and avocado.
Tortillas are now heated in the pan. The cheese is also ready and waiting for its use.😂
After turning the tortilla, the cheese goes on top and is folded together.
Since it's impractical to make up every single tortilla, you'll put them in a warming box first.
Now the black beans and the chicken are warmed up and the fresh cream is taken out of the refrigerator.
Now let's start the happy feasting. Everyone puts into his tortilla what he wants to eat.
The spinach and mushroom version.😃
Here is my version... doesn't that look yummy?
Have fun with the re-cooking! Let it taste good! :)

That looks so delicious! Awesome pictures of great food.
When you fold the tortillas in half (presumably for holding some other foodstuffs together) they call it a quesadilla. It's commonly thought that it comes from queso, the Spanish word for cheese, but it actually comes from the native word for folded. Of course the cheese is always popular, and people add it before or after all other ingredients.
Thank you, and please keep sharing tasty food pics!
Interesting, I also believed it came from the word cheese.
We have quesadilla, when I don't have other Ingredients at home.😃
Every day I learn something new. Thank you !
Hahaha, nice! So now you can have whatever wonderful ingredients you want to use, and still call it a quesadilla!
Very delicious. Thanks for sharing.
