Hace unas semanas les conté de un paseo familiar que tuvimos con ocaisón de una visita que nos hicieron unas queridas tías que teníamos mucho tiempo sin ver. Durante su estadía en Caracas visitamos muchos lugares y tuve la oportunidad de capturar hermosos momentos, así como: REFLEJOS!

A few weeks ago I told you about a family outing we had due to a visit from some dear aunts that we had not seen for a long time. During their stay in Caracas we visited many places and I had the opportunity to capture beautiful moments, such as: REFLEECTS!

En esta foto ven el Obelisco de la Plaza Altamira o Plaza Francia, ubicada en el Municipio Chacao, una zona muy concurrida en mi ciudad. Recientemente cumplió 78 años de haber sido inaugurado como una obra cultural icónica en nuestro país.
Con más de 40 metros de altura es el centro de esta plaza que fue en época reciente punto de encuentro para muchos protestantes que alzaban su voz contra el gobierno socialista.
Los colores que se reflejan en el agua son justamente los colores de la bandera nacional.
In this photo you see the Obelisk of Plaza Altamira or Plaza Francia, located in the Municipality of Chacao, a very busy area in my city. It recently celebrated 78 years of being inaugurated as an iconic cultural work in our country.
With more than 40 meters high, it is the center of this square that was in recent times a meeting point for many protesters who raised their voices against the socialist government.
The colors reflected in the water are precisely the colors of the national flag.
Un dato curioso de estas fotos es que cuando tomé la primera tenía un color muy opaco y sentía que no estaba captando la intensidad de los colores que estaba viendo. Mi cuñado estuvo explicándome algunas funciones de la cámara y luego me sorprendí por la diferencia en la nitidez y calidad de la imagen que estaba obteniendo. Les muestro un poco la comparación:
A curious fact about these photos is that when I took the first one it had a very dull color and I felt that I was not capturing the intensity of the colors I was seeing. My brother-in-law was explaining some of the camera's functions to me and then I was surprised by the difference in the sharpness and quality of the image I was getting. I'll show you a little comparison:
No soy fotógrafa, creo que ambas imágenes tienen una belleza característica, lo que me quedo de aprendizaje fue que debo dedicarme a revisar bien todas las funcionalidades de mi cámara móvil para sacarle mayor provecho a mis fotos. Espero te haya gustado mi selección para esta semana.
