New family members

These days, my family has gained some new members. I mean, not my real family, but the green family that lives in my home, a green collection made up of plants. You know, I mostly have succulents, but I also got some other plants as gifts these last few days. Let's start with the newest member, who arrived at my home this morning.
During our walk, we went to an indoor market and saw succulents at the flower stall. There were some cacti with red flowers that my father-in-law liked, and he wanted to buy me one of those. However, I preferred this simple green succulent to the one with the flowers. What I liked was its shape. Like an accordion, I said, and since I was already offered a gift, I chose this little guy.
I transplanted it because it was in a plastic pot that was too small. I also put these little white rocks around it, but I haven't watered it yet. I will wait with that for a few days. Its identification card says it is a cactus (they didn't specify which one - which annoys me hahaha, so if anyone can identify it... please, do it 😁), that it needs to be watered once a week in summer and once a month during winter. I usually water them once a week, but those that live outside on the balcony, where there is quite a lot of sun, I water them more often these days. The temperatures are really high, and there has been no rain for weeks. The smaller ones are placed inside; right now, they prefer to live at room temperature.

This little one found its place by Shrek's Ears (Crassula ovata Gollum) and a pineapple that got drunk in the champagne glass... 😆 We bought a pineapple a week ago and got the idea to try to get roots from the crown of leaves. I don't know if it will grow any roots in a week or two. If yes, I will plant it in the soil. At the moment, it doesn't look promising...

The next plant that also came to my home as a gift a few days ago is this Anthurium. I know it is not a succulent (I say this because of the community I will publish this post... succulent growers), but it belongs to this little "collection" of new plants.
The recommendation that came with the paper of the plant says that I should water it once a week, keep it between 8 and 25 degrees Celsius, and that it is not edible. Not that I wanted to eat its leaves in my salad... but good to know these little things around the plant and how to take care of it.

Apart from the three big flowers, there are a few small ones that grow between the stems. Can't wait to see how long the red flowers will last. 🤞

The third new plant that arrived at our home is this pink Kalanchoe. It was a gift from a student, hopefully satisfied with his piano learning progress.
I have had several Kalanchoe plants over the years, but they always decide to leave this world after a couple of years of life, mainly because of the aphids. While searching for suggestions on how to take care of it well, I found some interesting information about this plant. For example, did you know that Kalanchoe was one of the first plant species that saw our planet Earth from space?
Well, if this plant one day decides to leave me, I can hope that it just wanted to be sent to space instead of staying with me.
Just a joke, I will try to take care of them and provide years of happy life to these new plants. 🍀

don't tell @ewkaw that you have new cacti .. she 😂 might come over and make them dissapaer
Nah, what are you saying? That she is a #plantkiller? 😱

It's crassula Buddha's Temple :)
I can't wait to see it flower for you.
Crassula Buddha's Temple? 😲
Maybe my little friend, the Dreaming Buddha, lives in his temple, so that's why I don't always see him there in the hotel. Now I know, he lives at my home, since today! 😋
Good evening @mipiano, greetings to the new members of the family. On the question I have found two possibilities. Mii opinion is that it is one of them and I have my preference (although I may be wrong, and even that this new member of the family is none of the plants that I leave you here).
I think it may be the second one.
Greetings.
Good evening @enraizar 🌱
Thank you very much for your time, for trying to help me identify the first plant. It seems that it is Crassula Buddha's Temple, as Ewkaw said. I read a bit about it now. It is a hybrid succulent, from Crassula Pyramidalis and another one; they do look similar, though.
Good morning @mipiano, other than that it has been a pleasure to spend some time on this post, I love cacti 🌵 , I already told you I could be wrong.
Glad to know that you already know what kind of plant it is: a hybrid, by the way very nice.
Happy friday!
There are so many different succulents, it is not easy to identify them always
Happy Friday to you too 👋
😀👋
I love your new additions! The first one is so unusual... it's as unusual as me! And those red flowers, my goodness, they're beautiful... you know, I know the last one as the silk flower... one of my students had one... it's absolutely gorgeous! Thank you! You'll take good care of them!🤗
Yeah, so unusual and cool is the first plant, I am happy with my choice 😊
I am also happy with the Anthurium as I already wanted to have such a plant 🪴, so all in all, a happy plant family grew in my home :))
The family continues to grow and is beautiful!
I thought real family members and wondered if you'll have a grandchild 😂
Hahaha, we can wait with that 😆
That Kalanchoe is different from the Kalanchoe I know, I had a red one, but it was not like that 😲 are there different types of Kalanchoes, maybe from different galaxies? No wonder they are going to space...
