A bit of rain - finally!
After a long dry period, the rain finally decided to visit this part of Spain yesterday. The ground was already quite dry and dusty and the water reservoirs were slowly decreasing in water level. That is not good, especially after the winter when it was supposed to rain more and fill the water reservoirs.
However, nature has its own laws and decisions, it seems. April is not bad for rain either, the plants also know that. Only if we could understand how they feel.
Tired of waiting for the water that gives life or pleased with a few raindrops?
I was doing some errands that could be left for tomorrow. Nothing that had to be done today but I actually enjoyed being outside and seeing and feeling the rain. I saw more flowers that felt in the same way. Petunias were delighted with the new weather conditions - drizzling rain on a Monday morning.
On this little walk with an umbrella, a bag with my belongings and a camera that got a few drops on the lenses that I had to clean (probably in a very unprofessional way that every photographer would disapprove...🤐) I met pigeons, rocks and people too. {Thank goodness, we are not going to see only roses and petunias in this post.}
So, rocks. Not picking any of them today, just observing how nice they are when wet. The colours are more intense and we can also see some patterns on them. Look, it's a face here:
You guessed these pebbles are the ones from the beach. From there, the mountain looked like a small volcano with smoke.
The pigeons didn't mind anything; the clouds, the rain or my presence. Funny walk and searching for food among the rocks were their entertainment.
Later, when I left the beach and passed by the golf court, I saw other birds too. Ducks. What they were doing? 😱
The cigarette butts betrayed them.
The passers-by behaved well and didn't smoke like the ducks or the mountain. Each of them could have a different reason to take a walk on this rainy day and probably all were good ones... because going out without any goal but just feeling a few raindrops can be a pleasant activity too.
At least I had fun with these raindrops, birds, rocks, and umbrellas. (and no, don't ask how I dried the lenses from the water drops... 😂)

Beautiful Monday, I love the rain, and the plants really appreciate it after a long time of drought. The flowers look so pretty. That walk and the palm trees is beautiful with the wet ground. I enjoyed the walk of yours, thank you.

The rain is as important as the sun, and I especially love it if it rains for one or two days, in this calm way, but then - let's have the sun back :))

I saw the cigarette butt too, it stands out more than a lizard on a tree trunk.
it's because lizards are like special agents (pumarte's lizard story 😂) so your lizard on that tree trunk from the beach is maybe a relative of that special agent 😁
Beware 😂 that they often turn into alligators (caimanes) pumísticos.

We had rain here, too! I took a roses shot very similar of yours, but I was carrying a puppy instead of an umbrella and it was difficult to click the camera button in the right way. 🤣

Haha, carrying a puppy and taking a photo can be more complicated than the umbrella combo haha, although the umbrella also moved 😂
Umbrellas are alive, especially if you combine rain with cierzo. 🤣

I am sad when I have to carry an umbrella on the promenade by the sea.
Why? I don't live near the sea and I only have the opportunity to be at the sea once a year (if I don't count some business trips, when I don't have the strength to walk along the seashore).
And then I need the sun, warm sea, vacation at the sea. Whenever it happens to rain while I'm on vacation, it seems like it's stealing my vacation days.
I completely understand that feeling. Once you go to the seaside and it rains - it feels like complete bad luck. But the plants that live here also need rain as in any other part of the world :D

I have been expecting the rains too over here because it has been so hot but once it comes, the whole place is beautiful again.

I have always been a pebble lover, haha, and now even more! With my paints that like to cover the rocks with colours is more pronounced!

Two days ago it was raining like this in our city and we also went for a walk to a similar beautiful place where we saw a lot of flowers and plants. There was a lot of happiness because of this kind of rain, they start to look doubly beautiful.

Ahhhh, this is what we all need now in the Philippines, rain. It's too hot right now, I also want see and feel the rain. I just want the heat in all places to be replace with cold that comes from the rain ✨.
But you know, rain drops looks really beautiful in everything, from the leaves, the flowers or even at stones - I mean everything. You captured those image beautifully, and I can tell how you enjoy it coz it shows to the way you captured them, hehe.
This year the rain is a long-awaited gift from nutareleza, I love its smell and like pigeons, if it is not too strong, I enjoy walking in the rain, everything looks so beautiful in the rain, the plants brighten their color and the animals enjoying that unexpected bath.

Perhaps with a 'kleenex', the spanish napkin... Seriously now, if you don't have the lens cloth specifically for photographic lenses, the best thing to use is the lens wipe. (toallitas para las gafas)
No kleenex, pero con mi camiseta que no es mucho mejor que kleenex 😂
Ja ja ja No es lo más recomendable pero si te funcionó sin rayar el lente, estupendo. Un consejo, hazlo con suavidad y de dentro hacia afuera, en espiral.
