Oh, wow, I didn't know it was so cold ❄️ in Poland this time of year.

Usually it is not. In the 80's and 90's it used to start being cold in November, then real winter was coming in December (except for mountain areas where winter could come even in October). Nowadays, due to so called climate change, it is actually warmer, but anomalies happen more often. And this time such anomaly caused negative temperatures at night in some areas.
