Fun Day

Weekends are meant to be a little bit different from the usual ones, with more priority for friends and family. I did have such one, quite unplanned but it was fun to roam around the fair with the family. Oh yeah, I did enjoy my weekend visiting a fair with the family, perfect timing to jump in with this week's suggested topics.

Suddenly I saw my family members planned and ready to visit the fair. Given me 10 minutes to get ready, being a boy that's an easy task I guess, and we set out for the fair.

This is called Nagordola here, kids went in, I didn't as I wasn't feeling good today. This is scary for those who have heart problems, because when it swings excessively it becomes too thrilling to be handled.

There were kids with me, to take care of them, you know the responsibilities of being an uncle, haha. They were happy, and brought lots of toys, tons of them from the fair. I don't know how long they will last but the joy was worth watching. I still have a car from my childhood, almost ten to twelve years old, but the fact is, I might have the body only because I do remember ripping out the motor from it for more invention, hehehe.

These are clay pots, also known as terracotta. Nowadays these aren't used in daily life but many want to keep them for decorative purposes. Many restaurants tend to have them too to give the foods a traditional look.

Well, the fair is not so big, if we just keep walking then it would take mostly ten minutes to have a round from the starting point to the end. But did it end within ten minutes for us as well? Nope, absolutely no. There were plenty of shops, mostly with girl & kids items, then home decorative things, third is food and in the entertainment stuff. After roaming for more than an hour, our exploration was finished. I got nothing for me as there is barely anything for boys, sad news, but the girls in my family got plenty of stuff and I was taken to accompany them, as usual for the boys/men.

Have a look at the fair size, this is the entrance, quite narrow, but it gets a little wider on the other part where the nagordola is set up, the first picture. There were plenty more things to show, something like mini Santa Maria which is basically something like a wooden boat that swings from one side to the other, and many more food stalls but those weren’t healthy from our perspective so we hadn’t had anything there.

I couldn’t take many pictures as I was mostly occupied with the kids, was busy enjoying to its fullest, spending some quality time with the family, and mostly helping them to buy their stuff. Overall it was a great day, we did enjoy the evening a lot.

Have a great day,
Take care!

Oh yeah, I do remember a few too, I was too old to remember clearly but I can remember a few old ones that used to be used on different occasions for specific purposes.

Yeah,
Often we get tea served in clay pots in different places, that's a nice gesture.

Thank you for stopping by.
