Bangabandhu Military Museum

Bangabandhu Military Museum is one of the finest places to visit in Dhaka. One will surely have a rich idea about our history and our military forces. People who are fond of our military power and want to explore them are a must place to visit.

Few things before going,
1)Check out the weekly holidays to skip and it has scheduled time to visit in two shifts.
2)One must book tickets through their online website before going, otherwise you will have to do that there. Show them the online tickets from your phone, they will scan the QR code and hand over the tickets to pass.

First of all, I was perplexed on hearing about the huge lines to enter but fortunately, I was late to reach. The second shift started at 3.00 pm and we reached there at 4.00 pm so the majority of the people were already inside and we didn't face any hassle. Duration of each shift is three hours long but you won't need this much amount of time there to complete the whole thing, we were on time so we had finished exploring the whole museum within one hour. Two hours is more than enough to go through every section in detail.

This one was captured from the second floor, you can see a hall large hall with a huge boat with which people are taking pictures and you can also have a glance of the outer section filled with water that I forget to capture while entering and in the end we had to exit through an another way.

Specious halls with different art and historical informations displayed. If you wish to read every one of them then that's the only way to utilize the whole three hours given for exploration. Many were reading with a great eager.

On various sections you would see these kinda symbolic positions. Gives you an idea about their ways in action. Kids may think that they are for real.

I loved these ships and boats, there were many more. On seeing them I was wishing if I had any of these to showcase on my table, hehehe, they were too beautiful.

Ground, air, or in the sea, our soldiers are packed with their toys and displayed those replicas for us. On the last one you can see a kid is having fun inside that. I have witnessed the satisfaction in that kids eye.

Already added plenty of photos and there were way beyond these to explore and also a few photosession zone with amazing lighting effects that would give you a feel of being underwater. Particularly those places are very crowded as everyone of the visitors wants to click some pictures there and I skipped that part, hehehe I hate crowd. Otherwise the whole place was very specious to handle the mass crowd and everything was too much disciplined as the whole place is under a strict observation by them which I loved the most.

So it was a magnificent visit, at least everyone of us should pay a visit.
