My Uncle's Miracle Fruit Tree

Hello all, πŸ‘‹...How's your week going?

Have you ever heard about the miracle fruit? Sounds interesting, isn't it? When I first heard about this fruit, I was like, "Come on people, there should be a proper name for it..." but no one seemed to know.

So I made a bit of research and found out that it's English name is Calabash Fruit. It is also called miracle fruit because of its known health benefits. The thing is, when you type miracle fruit two fruits appear. One is a big, round and green fruit and the other is little red berries also with loads of health benefits thus the nickname. Yeah, these two fruits are sharing a nickname. 😊

Additionally, when you type calabash, the picture that shows up is the bottle gourd. I just found out that a bottle gourd is also called calabash so I must be precised. I typed Calabash fruit and there it was, very similar to the photographs that I am going to share this moment.

I was excited to see this tree because I've been hearing a lot of positive things about it. And I'm glad that when I saw it, it has fruits. Awesome!

Apparently, this tree was planted by my Uncle before pandemic. In 2021, he got covid and sadly he didn't make itπŸ˜”. This tree kept on growing and it started to bear fruit when the world was just opening up. I am meaning when we're allowed to get out of our houses and until now it's looking so lush and a happy looking tree. My uncle's wife is benefiting a lot from it. πŸ₯°

It isn't an easy task to prepare the juice drink from it, and I'm not sure if it can be eaten raw. You will need a saw to cut it open, (yeah, you got that right πŸ˜…) scoop the flesh out, boil the flesh with a bit of water, I think, then it's ready when the juice turns dark. I must say, I'll just buy the ready to drink in a bottle, I just saw it on the Internet that it's being sold online. 😁

I suggest, you should make your own research first before trying it. As of this writing, I haven't tried it yet so all I know for now are hearsays and a bit of knowledge that I got from the web... Alright, these are just a few informations about this fruit: rich in vitamins, helps strengthen the immune system, anti-aging πŸ˜‰, lowers blood glucose levels and it nourishes the heart. Tempting isn't it? 😊

This is all for now...Thank you friends for your time and support as always. Have a good day/goodnight. 🌹🌹🌹

It's always about something to eatπŸ˜…πŸ˜… #Joking! I liked this miracle fruit. However, if you had also told the story behind calling it a miracle fruit, it would have been better and more connecting. But its nice to see this fruit 😊
