My 1st Phone Photography of the Year ♡

Hello all 👋👋👋, how's your day going?

Excited once again to join in the fun in this wonderful New Phone Photography Contest being hosted by our friend @untilwelearn.

I have been meaning to share these photos that I've taken using my smartphone since the start of the year but I had not much motivation because time is limited because of work, daily life, personal life, the building of my new living space, etc, etc. In fact, until now I'm still in this same situation in even more energy draining, mental and emotional as well.

But now I am happy for having this time to finally be able to share this fantastic moment that I spent in nature on the first morning of the year. All thanks to this wonderful Phone Photography Contest. 🤗

Like I said, life at the moment is draining. Ended the past year busy and IF I'm not going to take this moment, it is not happening. Being an insomniac, I can just prefer to sleep in the morning but I didn't this time. Well, a little bit 😅 because I could have gotten up earlier, but it was alright, all I needed is the determination to carry out the plan to not start the year with loads that occupy my time and mind. Yeah, you see if we make time nothing is impossible. 😉

The beach is just over a kilometer away from home. But the heat, high humidity, lack of time and motivation just put me off from going. This morning, when one of my brothers who came visiting came back from his early morning cycling, I said to him,"Let's drive around the beach!" Without a second thought he said, "Let's go!" So off we went! 🥰

The beach stretches down to the next town where we have chosen to park. Why? Because the part of our town was super crowded and here it wasn't. Yay! Taking photos was great but the heat of the sun was biting already at past 8am.

It was a total feel good moment while enjoying the breeze on my face, my long hair going with the wind's direction, my light baggy pants flapping while halfway up were soaking with my feet in the sea water. Fresh, salty air, the warmth of the sun, and the calming melodious sound of the waves are just what I needed to start my year and I got it... for free.🥰 Awesome!

Then we drove past the middle/center...our town's part of the beach to the other end of the beach where the sea meets the river where it's quite horrifying to stare at the super aggressive seawater and river water meeting in the middle.We stayed in the car as the temperature risen and the sun glaring.

And oh, are you that type of person to take home something as souvenir? Well, I'm kind of like that particularly shells or little rocks from the beach. I've taken this shell home gave it a wash with soap and water and put it on my desk. As I was working at my desk, huh, it was moving. 😅 It's alive!🙉 So I thought, ok, I guess I have a pet now not a desk ornament. 🙈 So I got a clear plastic container filled it with water and stirred in salt and put my new pet in there🤗. I was totally unsure of what I was doing. Unfortunately, after two days our dining room was stinking...I am keeping the shell...😊

On our way home...

My post isn't complete without this...food! 😋 By the beach, a man in motorcycle with a box behind him was selling this caramel-ey silken tofu (soya bean curd). It was nice, warm and sweet, my first time to have it. In fact, there's no second time yet. 🙊 I know, it should happen someday. To be honest, I forgot to take a photo again. 🙈 and my brother was halfway finished as well when I remembered. Good thing was that, I bought an extra to give it to my sister so I said to her, "I got this for you but please let me take a photo first." 😄

Very beautiful moment to recall. Now I have a dilemma...I overdid the word count. 🙈 My apologies.😔
