Life is a flower (Autumn Photography)

If I could give a gift to everyone that I know, it would be the gift of happiness. But guess what, my happiness does not necessarily translate to someone else's happiness, so my gift of happiness might not be so happy after all.

10.jpg

You see, some people are inclined to hold onto sadness, create sadness, and feel that their sadness is the doing of others.

It can be difficult to connect with such people, especially if our brains are wired oppositely, or if we train our minds to see and feel a sense of happiness despite whatever challenges we might be facing, or have overcome.

Today, I felt happy, and I went happily on a walk, to see some of the things that make me feel happier — the happy colours of autumn, and the happy sight of nature.

7.jpg

Even though I walk these same paths every day, I see things with fresh eyes, as I'm always fully immersed in the moment. This walk made me reflect on my first autumn, many years ago. I was so affected by the cold that I failed to see the beauty in the changes of the season and everything that surrounded me. Since then, I have embraced the season as it's a constant reminder of all the changes I have been through and all the changes that are yet to come, as that's life.
I'm happy with my positive way of seeing life, and I'm still optimistic that there's a way to make people who see life negatively, find light. It is possible, right?

I know it is!

I've come a long way by owning and dealing with my troubles, removing thorns to appreciate petals, that take on different shapes.

6.jpg

3.jpg

Nature is beauty
An unwithering beauty
That I touch, see and feel.

2.jpg

3.jpg

There's nothing as beautiful as trees; leaves, branches, and roots.

Strong roots.

Being among the trees — My Happy, reminds me that I need to be strong despite what blows, storms, and turbulence I feel.

Keep swaying, and bending and be as resilient as a tree.

5.jpg

Sometimes I feel like I'm going through the wilderness, like a maze with no way out.

1.jpg

I always keep going, blooming, shedding layers and tears until I find my way.

5.jpg

1.jpg

Life is a flower, and a good way to discover that is to take the time to be grateful because having gratitude gives us a feeling of will.

2.jpg

I have walked this street before, mainly because of this humongous tree, which my camera hasn't done justice.
I feel safe and protected by its magnitude, and I look to it for answers, but it guides me back to me.

How I see life, depends on no one else but me. I have to create the life that I want for myself.

Nature is a flower, a tree, a shrub, and a plant. Nature is life; the gift of happiness, or at least, it is to me.

All images were captured on my walk today 25 October 2023, in Newton Abbot UK for tattoodjay #WednesdayWalk.

PS. I'm always questioning life, trying to understand the psychology of the way I see the world and how others view the world. If only I could inject positivity into others, I would, but I know that the mind is the powerhouse that we need to tap into to find our light, our inner peace, and our path through trials and tribulations. Still, I'll continue to do my part through my words here, with the hope that my words can touch someone and maybe make them feel some light. 🙏

The human mind is very powerful if we know how to use it well to benefit our emotional stability, we can prepare for any type of eventuality, so that it does not affect us, and therefore always be happy despite the circumstances.
Without a doubt we must learn to be more grateful for all the good things that happen to us.
What a beautiful place to walk, you have taken very beautiful shots, I appreciate that you let us know about this experience
I take this opportunity to give you a wonderful night and a well-deserved rest, dear friend @millycf1976

👆That's powerful.

How do we get minds that are wired differently to understand this? I believe having gratitude is the first and major step to understanding this.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply @jlufer 🙏

Gratitude is not something very common that we say, since not all of us are grateful, but those who put it into practice often know that it is a key that will open many doors, and I have no doubt that it is a bridge of connection between the people who they think differently

Beautiful fall pictures, it's my favorite time of year. I was telling someone it seems to not last long enough. That became a reality tonight when the weatherman said there was a chance for snow on Sunday 😳 we still have some green leaves on trees still.

Yeah, Autumn is way too short!!! Although the British summers are shorter.
I think the world is seeing some crazy weather. It's the ending of October, yet I went out without a jacket today and many people seemed reluctant to accept that summer is over, because many were dressed in shorts and t shirts.
We will feel the shock of winter. I just need to spend a ot of time outdoors to cope better with it;)

Indeed strange weather everywhere. It was 80 F here the other day.

What? Geez! I have a feeling that the cold is gonna bite us in February.

Last year we had freakish winter temps in mid December. Negative -25 🥶 I hope not this year. We normally hit lows in January and February but it never got as cold as it was on December.

-25 degrees sounds scary and I'm not sure if I'd cope. I guess winters for you are totally different with a tremendous amount of snow. Ours is mainly windy, rainy, cold and very grey. I spent 3 months in Jamaica last year, so I escaped a lot of the winter season. However, it was a long extended winter which made it extremely difficult to acclimatize to.
I think I prefer to be live through the entire winter.

The last few years not a lot of snow. I say we are do for a lot. Usually we have a week or two of extreme negative temps. This summer has been strange, I only mowed my lawn like three times. Hoping to only shovel snow that few times, hehe.

The highest snow I've been in was knee-high (and I'm relatively short). Snow in the US is another kettle of fish. When I see snow covering houses and driveways, I think that's insane. Yet the difference is that you're prepared for it in the US. Here in the UK, if there's heavy snow, there's a panic (one which I believe would be similar if it suddenly snowed in Jamaica), as if they have never seen snow before. They are not as equipped for handling snow at all, lol.

Nature is happiness, nature is life and it's more. The happiness of people around me influences me a lot of time because I love to stay positive, harbouring sadness is no one fault and I don't give room for that because it only opens the path for negativity. There are times when I can't help it but I am responsible for my feeling.

Every season of the year comes with its beauty and we just have to see beyond the weather conditions to enjoy the beauty. I woke up to cold weather this morning and can tell that Harmattan is knocking on our doors in this part of the world.

The pictures are awesome, wishing you a beautiful day.

💯

Harbouring sadness is no one fault and I don't give room for that because it only opens the path for negativity.

That's so true!

Harmattan is knocking on our doors in this part of the world.

I forgot that you do experience that on your side of the world.

Have a lovely day too 🤗

Nature is wild, nature is free, nature is unbridled beauty. Even in the falling, brown leaves of autumn, it still evokes the truest feelings of warmth. It's only the truly happy that can feel this. Your words are sweetly poetic.❤️🤗

It's only the truly happy that can feel this.

Leonardo da Vinci said some see, those who see when shown, and those who do not see.

Is there a way to make someone miserable with life to see the beauty and feel the power that nature has, and gives?

I'd be happy to know how.

Your words are sweetly poetic.

Thank you 😊

I don't think there's a way. I don't think people understand that they power to their emotions is in their hands, meaning that they don't know that they can lift themselves from the sourest of moods just by communing with the nature around them.
But we will keep seeing and hoping that when we show them, they will see too.🥰

Power to their emotions is in their hands

I wish they taught emotional awareness and understanding in schools, or the first few years of every child's life, then maybe everyone would see.
You're right though, we can't give up hope 🤗😘

Lovely walk and photos. Nature is everything and amazing indeed. I truly feel happy in nature and I totally understand tree huggers. Autumn is lovely as well and definitely signifies changes which are inevitable - so we need to go with the flow. The same is applicable for our lives which we indeed create for ourselves.

Wishing you many more happy walks and opportunities to create.

Yes, nature is everything, and I wish to experience another Dutch autumn because that was my very first one which I didn't embrace. I wasn't capable then. Back then, life (the cold) was unbearable for me from September 😏

Now I cherish every day and every season.

Have a great day 🤗

Aww Sometimes change takes time but it is great that now you can appreciate the seasons. Now you have a reason to return one Dutch autumn - to be in the midst of the different hues of changing leaves.

Have a great day as well.

Every Wednesday and Thursday I find in this community some magical place where I would like to have been the one to take the pictures, and this place you share is the one that has touched me the most this time. I would also like to know and experience the changing seasons, in fact everything I see in photographs and films is amazing, to see the same place with different colours and shapes depending on the time of the year ❤️

I think it's easy to get addicted to reading your posts, because it's the kind of content that fills my soul with positivity. I don't know if you know this, but the last year I had was the hardest and 2023 took an important part of my soul, but all the pain we lived through at home I have been transforming it into wisdom, happiness and light. It hasn't been easy, music has helped me, but seeing life the way others narrate in their Hive posts makes me feel that I'm not alone and that we have to support each other. I'm glad you feel so good today and I'm glad to find out that you also participate in this community, it literally helped me to improve my year. Happy day, I send you another hug!...

I'm happy to hear that you're finding light and healing from all that you've been through.

I appreciate your genuine response and the recipient of my blog. I do feel and try to express my connection with the universe in a broad way that touches others.

You've made my day, and I'm thrilled that I brightened up your moment with these lovely colours of nature that I feel so blessed to experience. 😊🙏

It's the same for me. When I lived in Jamaica, I never experienced the seasons, so the changes are always spectacular here in Europe and I've heard even more in some parts of America 🤗🍂
