Greetings and blessed day friends of Liketu and Hive, I hope you all woke up very well and are having a nice morning. Yesterday unfortunately I couldn't share this post with you because I was super busy at work and in fact, I left the office very late. Arriving home very tired and in pain wanting to rest, but I had to do laundry so I got busy on that and then it was that I was able to have dinner and rest. 😓

This post is about the meeting that my boss organized for us last May 1st, workers' day. He made us a nice invitation to attend the facilities of "Sabor de la Ternera", it is a tasca - restaurant located in the Parque de Ferias San Jacinto, a very nice and comfortable place to share with your loved ones. The day before I stayed at my mother-in-law's house with my boyfriend Gabo, since a co-worker would pick us up at his house at noon.

When our partner arrived, we went in his car to the place, and when we arrived, we were taken to the hall where we would be located. The room was nice and presentable. We proceeded to greet our other colleagues who were in the room and then we sat down because my boss had already placed the order. For lunch he ordered for all of us: meat, cachapa, striped salad with avocado and yucca.

The food was very tasty but if you look at the photo of the plate I was able to capture, the meat was raw (for me still the cow was saying "Muuu 🫠🤣🤣🤣🤣). I was able to eat only the parts that were more cooked but the ones I could see with still pinkish tone, I left them. That displeased me but I didn't want to have any say as it was an invitation from my boss and I didn't want to see bad faces. However, my mother-in-law also noticed that the meat was undercooked but unlike me, she didn't mince words and said in a loud tone of voice that the meat was raw (that made me a little happy 🤣), since I wasn't the only one who thought so. But well the point is, we were able to enjoy everything else and the conversations that went on at the time with our companions.

By the time we all finished eating my boss had left the room with his son, who also works with us, and his wife. We waited until we saw them arrive with some gift bags. These were medium sized and had labels with the name of the institute where we work attached to them. It caused us a lot of intrigue but at the same time we all assumed they were gifts for us for Labor Day, and yes, we were right. 😊 After a small talk of thanks from our boss for the work we have been developing since he was appointed president of the institute, he gave us permission to open the bags and they contained inside them some nice caps personalized with the initial of the 1st name and 1st surname of each worker, in my case my cap says "M. De la Rosa". I thought it was very nice and I was happy with it, since I love to wear caps. After seeing that nice detail we stood up from our seats to take a group photo. ☺️🙌🏻✨

When we sat down again, Karina the administrator mentioned that there were 4 gifts that they were going to raffle. There were 2 gifts for women and 2 for men. She wrote down the numbers 1 and 2 on some slips of paper, then folded them so that everyone could take a slip of paper. I grabbed mine and when I uncovered it, it had the number 2, but honestly I was confused because I thought she was going to choose only one winning number, that is, it was either 1 or 2, and as I took out the number 2 I asked "Which is the winning number? 1 or 2?" And she said "both", that meant that I was one of the winners. 🥹🙌🏻✨ The other winner was Mrs. Carmen, a co-worker of ours, and our 2 partners (men) won a hair shaver. When I saw what we had won I was dumbfounded, I was not expecting that, it was a very nice hair straightener. Although to be honest with everyone, I was more surprised to have won than what I won, since I used to have very bad luck in raffles and I didn't win. This year is the 2nd time I win in a raffle, in the first one I won a coffee maker, so I can say very happy that this year luck has been on my side 🥰 and I hope it stays that way.

When I got home I told my sisters and my mom, and one of my sisters mentioned to me that she has that same iron. She told me that it is very good and that it is one of the best sellers. That made me very happy. 😊 And even though I don't flat iron my hair every day and when I do, I just run it over the top as it were, I'm very happy to have a new flat iron. When I use it I will tell you how it is 🤗✨ After the raffle we stayed a while longer in the place talking about the plans that our boss raised to continue improving in the institute, and then he asked us for some quesillos as dessert to finish the day. He first asked us if we wanted dessert, because he has been to the place a lot and said that the desserts are extremely sweet. Despite that we all said "Yes" when he asked us if we wanted dessert, and when the quesillos arrived and we tasted them, we were all like: 🥲🫠... indeed, they were VERY sweet. I had never eaten quesillo covered with condensed milk, who came up with that idea? I don't think it was necessary, quesillo has a very tasty flavor and it doesn't need anything else. In itself, the quesillo was very sweet, and the addition of the condensed milk made it taste like pure sugar, literally... and even though I am a lover of sweet desserts and candy, I couldn't eat the whole thing because I felt like I was going to throw up.

But well friends without more to say, this was all that happened on Labor Day on my part. It was a very nice and pleasant day despite the detail of raw meat and sweet quesillo 🙈. Saludos y bendecido día amigos de Liketu y Hive, espero que todos hayan amanecido muy bien y estén teniendo una linda mañana. Ayer lamentablemente no pude compartirles este post porque estuve súper ocupada en el trabajo y de hecho, salí muy tarde de la oficina. Llegando muy cansada a mi casa y con ganas de dolor descansar, pero tenía que lavar ropa así que me ocupé en eso y después fue que pude cenar y descansar. 😓

Este post trata acerca de la reunión que nos realizó mi jefe el pasado 1 de Mayo, día del trabajador. Nos hizo una linda invitación para que asistiéramos a las instalaciones de “Sabor de la Ternera”, es una tasca - restaurant ubicado en el Parque de Ferias San Jacinto, un lugar muy agradable y cómodo para compartir con tus seres queridos. El día anterior me quedé en casa de mi suegra junto a mi novio Gabo, ya que un compañero de trabajo nos buscaría por su casa al medio día.

Cuando llegó nuestro compañero nos fuimos en su carro hasta el lugar, y al llegar, nos llevaron al salón en donde estaríamos ubicados. El salón era bonito y presentable. Procedimos a saludar a nuestros demás compañeros que se encontraban en el salón y luego nos sentamos porque mi jefe ya había hecho el pedido. De almuerzo pidió para todos: Carne, cachapa, ensalada rayada con aguacate y yuca.

La comida estaba muy rica pero si se fijan en la foto del plato que pude capturar, la carne estaba cruda (para mi aún la vaca decía “Muuu 🫠🤣🤣🤣). Pude comer solo las partes que estaban más cocidas pero las que veía con tono aún rosado, las dejé. Eso me desagradó pero no quise opinar nada, ya que era una invitación de mi jefe y no quería ver malas caras. Sin embargo, mi suegra también se dio cuenta que a la carne le faltaba cocción pero a diferencia de mi, ella si no tuvo pelos en la lengua y dijo en un tono de voz alto que la carne estaba cruda (eso me alegró un poco 🤣), ya que no fui la única que lo pensó. Pero bueno el punto es que, pudimos disfrutar de todo lo demás y las conversaciones que se dieron en su momento con nuestros compañeros.

Cuando todos terminamos de comer mi jefe había salido del salón junto a su hijo, quien también trabaja con nosotros, y su esposa. Estuvimos esperando hasta que los vinos llegar con unas bolsas de regalo. Estas eran medianas y tenían pegadas una etiquetas con el nombre del instituto en donde trabajamos. Nos causó mucha intriga pero a la vez todos asumimos que eran regalos para nosotros por el día del trabajador, y si, acertamos. 😊 Después de una pequeña charla de agradecimiento por parte de nuestro jefe por el trabajo que hemos venido desarrollando desde que lo nombraron presidente del instituto, nos dio permiso de abrir las bolsas y contenían dentro de ellas unas lindas gorras personalizadas con la inicial del 1er nombre y 1er apellido de cada trabajador, en mi caso mi gorra dice “M. De la Rosa”. Me pareció muy linda y quedé contenta con ella, ya que yo amo usar gorras. Luego de ver ese lindo detalle nos paramos de nuestros asientos para tomarnos una foto grupal. ☺️🙌🏻✨

Cuando nos volvimos a sentar, Karina la administradora nos mencionó que habían 4 regalos los cuales pensaban rifar. Eran 2 regalos de mujer y 2 de hombre. Ella anotó en unos papelitos el número 1 y el 2, luego los dobló para que cada quien agarrara un papelito. Yo agarré el mío y al destaparlo tenía el número 2, pero sinceramente me había confundido porque creí que ella iba a escoger un solo número ganador, o sea, o era el 1 o era el 2, y como yo saqué el número 2 pregunté “Cuál es el número ganador? ¿El 1 o el 2?” Y ella dijo “ambos”, eso quería decir que yo era una de las ganadoras. 🥹🙌🏻✨ La otra ganadora fue la Sra. Carmen, compañera de trabajo de nosotros, y nuestros 2 compañeros (hombres) se ganaron una máquina de afeitar cabello. Al ver lo que nos habíamos ganado quedé boquiabierta, no me esperaba eso, era una plancha de cabello muy bonita. Aunque siendo sincera con todos, me sorprendió más el haber ganado que lo que me gané, ya que yo en las rifas solía tener muy mala suerte y no ganaba. Este año es la 2da vez que gano en una rifa, en la primera me gané una cafetera, así que puedo decir muy contenta que este año la suerte ha estado de mi lado 🥰 y espero se mantenga así.

Al llegar a casa le conté a mis hermanas y a mi mamá, y una de mis hermanas me mencionó que ella tiene esa misma plancha. Me dijo que es muy buena y que es una de las más vendidas. Eso me alegró mucho. 😊 Y aunque yo no me plancho el cabello todos los días y cuando lo hago, solo me la paso por encimita como quien dice, me alegra mucho tener una plancha nueva. Cuando la use les diré que tal es 🤗✨ Después de la rifa nos quedamos un rato más en el lugar hablando sobre los planes que nuestro jefe planteó para seguir mejorando en el instituto, y luego nos pidió unos quesillos como postre para culminar el día. El nos preguntó primero que si queríamos postre, porque el ha ido mucho al lugar y dijo que los postres son extremadamente dulces. A pesar de ello todos dijimos “Si” cuando nos preguntó que si queríamos postre, y cuando llegaron los quesillos y los probamos, todos quedamos tipo: 🥲🫠… en efecto, estaban MUY dulces. Yo nunca había comido quesillo cubierto con leche condensada, ¿a quién se le ocurrió esa idea? Yo pienso que no hacía falta, el quesillo tiene un sabor muy sabroso y no le hace falta más nada. De por si, el quesillo estaba muy dulce, y que le hayan agregado la leche condensada hizo que su sabor fuera pura azúcar, literalmente… y aunque yo soy amante de los postres dulces y la chuchería, no pude comérmelo completo porque sentía que iba a vomitar.

Pero bueno amigos sin más que decir, esto fue todo lo que pasó en el día del trabajador por mi parte. Fue un día muy lindo y agradable a pesar del detalle de la carne cruda y el quesillo dulce 🙈. Espero que todos hayan tenido un hermoso día igualmente y hayan disfrutado y/o descansado. Espero que tengan un lindo fin de semana, besos y abrazos para todos. ✨🤍
