Reflection Hunters Contest Round #208 | Ephemeral Reflections

Once again I am participating in the reflection hunter's contest. This week I managed to capture a few good reflection shots.

Reflections may be ephemeral, but they have an impact on the creative and artistic mind of a photographer.

This existence is not just about what we could see, it is also about what we could not see in the visible eyes, it also encompasses the ephemeral dimensions of this world. It is the inflection of everything.

The subject(trees and sun) cast reflections on still water beautifully and prominently. They are ephemeral and will vanish with sunset, but their short-lived existence is reminiscent of the subtle and fleeting effect of time.

Just like the image is upside-down, the whole existence is somewhat like that. Only the inward eyes can feel it.

Ever since I started capturing reflections and shadow photos, I have increasingly become an observer of Nature. As such I have a strong affinity with Nature and the Natural ecosystem from the get-go. But the perspective of how we see and observe Nature also makes it more qualitative. So participating in such weekly episodes has its passive benefits.

The redness of the evening and the humming sound of the evening when the birds return to their nests is an amazing experience should you go that deep to listen to that sound, unabated by the noise pollution around you. Silence and Nature have much more to offer.

I will capture more shots of hydroelectric projects in the coming week in these reflections and shadow-hunting episodes.
