Let's acknowledge a few imperfect shots!

Well, the title of this blog might have caught you intrigued. How could a few imperfect shots take center stage?

I am not a photographer, But I am an amateur. My garden has always been my source of motivation.

Generally, I have seen or read that photographers take 100s shots to get that perfect shot. Those perfect shots bring glory and accolades for them and they rise to prominence as a professional photographer.

The audience is generally interested in the front end, in those things that are on display and glaringly visible to his/her eyes. We are least interested in going to its genesis and process. After all, we entertain our eyes, and sensory experience, that comes as leisure and rejuvenation for us.

But for a Photographer, it is hell lot of process and imperfections to achieve the outcome or the perfect shot. He might have to change the angle, wait for the right time, experiment with lights, and so many things. So a photographer even though produces the best one for display can not abandon the imperfect ones, because that is a reminder of his hard work.

Every day we come across tons of beautiful photography, and we appreciate and go wow, fantastic, beautiful, marvelous, spectacular, etc and whatnot.

Let's take a pause, break this trend, and appreciate the imperfect shots. Those imperfect shots are the path forward to a perfect shot for a photographer.

This is not just about photography. This philosophy jerks us into the reality of life. This whole universe greater whole of everything including perfection, imperfections, and everything else.

Unless we have an enriching experience of every aspect of life(whether bad or good) we can not realize the essence of the Universe.

We can not develop a special relationship with flowers, Nature, or wow Photography, unless we sense experience the intricacy of it and unless we realize that the object in the display is greater than the sum of its parts. It's more about that fine sight, that develops an emotional relationship with Nature/flowers.

To foster an attachment with Nature requires appreciation and acknowledgment of both perfections and imperfections. You can not choose a route without walking past the thorns to reach those beautiful roses. And if you do so, you are neglecting the unchartered territory of Nature. The philosophy of Nature believes in the recognition of unchartered territory.

The sensory experience and perceptual arousal from Nature come from the immediate contact with Nature, but such a connection should not be superficial, it must encompass and deep and pervasive features of Nature.

I am not detailing out the name of the various flowers, I think the visuals/photographs are self-explanatory. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you.
