Sachsenring Motorsport : A historically difficult racetrack in Oberlungwitz, Germany. 🇩🇪🏁
Hello everyone, today I will take everyone to visit the Sachsenring Motorsport in the easternmost part of Germany, which is a historic motorsport stadium that is still being renovated to be modern all the time. It uses various types of motorcycle racing. This time, the world-class MotoGP Superbike competition, which is a superbike motorcycle race that many people know and is very popular, is being held at this stadium.
This stadium is quite large. It is a historical stadium built in 1920 by two locals, Sepp Wengner and Paul Berger, who were in charge of racing on the streets around the city. They were inspired by motorcycle racing. Despite the initial opposition from the locals, they were able to compete in 1927. In the first race, it could accommodate up to 140,000 people.
It is divided into zones: the racer zone, the hospitality zone, and the spectator zone. It is organized in proportion. The hospitality zone is accessible only to the racing teams and invited guests.
And the zone is a seating area for spectators to cheer on the racers. On the other side, there is an exhibition of concerts and music performances in the evening for tourists to enjoy. It is located nearby.
The highlight of this course is the narrow, narrow curves that are difficult for riders to set up and solve problems. There is another difficult first curve, a narrow and steep right curve that goes off the hill, causing riders to miss the curve. This curve is called the waterfall.
And this is the atmosphere during the 2025 MotoGP race at the German track. It was exciting.
The race went well at this track. I hope everyone likes my post. Thank you for following. Have a nice day.
