Hello everyone! Today I'm greeting you all in the kitchen, but I won't be cooking a meal today. Instead, we'll be making a healthy snack. This is because I'm currently exercising and trying to control my diet, which is difficult, so I wanted to try making small changes. That's how I came up with the idea of making healthy whole-grain cookies. I checked my kitchen to see what ingredients I could use, and luckily I had some various grains on hand. That was my goal! Today, I want to share a simple and delicious way to make whole-grain cookies. These are healthy whole-grain cookies, perfect for those on a diet or health-conscious individuals. Let's look at the ingredients and how to make them.

Ingredients

  • 75 grams of almonds
  • 75 grams of dates
  • 75 grams of hazelnuts
  • 75 grams of pumpkin seeds
  • 25 grams of black sesame seeds
  • 25 grams of flax seeds
  • 25 grams of honey
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients, then add the egg whites and honey. Mix thoroughly until the egg whites and honey coat all the grains.

  • The egg whites help the grains stick together and also provide protein.

  • Next, scoop the batter into flat patties like cookies, or if you have cookie cutters, you can use them. This is a simpler and quicker method: place the patties on parchment paper to prevent sticking and make them easy to remove.

  • Once finished, preheat the oven to 160-180 degrees Celsius. Bake for approximately 5-20 minutes. Observe the cookies until they begin to slightly change color. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. Because if the heat is too high, the cookies will burn, and if you leave them in for too long, the same thing will happen.

  • Once the cookies are cooked, take them out. Don't remove them from the parchment paper yet, as they may not be fully set. Wait for them to cool before removing them. That's it! You'll have delicious and healthy whole grain cookies.

And that's my method for making whole grain cookies. You can adjust the ingredients; if you don't have dates, you can use raisins, or if you have other types of grains, you can adapt the recipe. These are just the ingredients I had in my kitchen.
