Visiting the Cays of the Falcón State - Chichiriviche | Travel

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well. Today I want to share my last trip to the Venezuelan coast, where I went to an area called Chichiriviche, which belongs to the state of Falcón. There you can find some keys that are like small paradisiacal islands where you can find different types of animals, crystal-clear waters and very white sand. Many people classify them as the best beaches in Venezuela.

To get there I traveled more than 12 hours by bus, since I live in the Andean region, especially in the state of Táchira, so it is quite far from the coast. When we arrived in the state of Falcón we went to Chichiriviche, there are several docks that can take us to these small islands and of course the only way to get to them is by boat, yacht, ship or any of these means of transportation.

There are different keys, I went to three of them Cayo Sal, Cayo Sombrero and Cayo Muerto, each one of them is located at different kilometers from the coast, the furthest of all is Cayo Sombrero which is 40 minutes away, depending on the season it can be a little riskier to get there, on this date that I went the sea was very calm the waves were soft there was no problem to get there with the boats.

This holiday season in Venezuela there are always a lot of people in these types of places which makes it very fun because there are always different types of activities such as dancing on the beach, recreational sports activities and many other types of games.

A place I went to that I found very interesting is one called Los Juanes, in this place there is no coast as such, it is just that the sea level is a little higher than the land level, so the boats and yachts are positioned there with music so that people can have fun in the water as if it were a pool in the middle of the sea.

One of the most outstanding things about these keys is the water, since it is totally crystal clear and it is a very pleasant water to enter because it is not cold, it is warm as found in the Caribbean Sea, these waters are always characterized by that, in addition with the sand that is very white, very beautiful landscapes are made.

It is always very important to have good sunscreen and excellent hydration since the sun in these regions is very strong and temperatures can exceed 30 °C

I went on this trip with my family, we had planned it for a few months and it finally happened, it is a destination that I recommend 100% because you enjoy it to the fullest, a super relaxing environment where you can recover a lot of energy and there are also many things to do, both for those who want more fun as well as for those who want to spend moments of peace.

One of the things I like most about these small islands is the large number of palm trees that can be found. Wherever you go, there are palm trees everywhere, so coconut drinks, coconut sweets, or any coconut derivative are very easy to find.

These beaches are the best in Venezuela, their natural beauty makes them extremely attractive to travel whenever you can and enjoy those wonderful landscapes, in addition to the great biodiversity that there is, since it has many coral reefs and different types of animals that can be found on these islands. Hola a todos! Espero se encuentren bien, hoy quiero compartir mi último viaje a las costas venezolanas en el que acudo a una zona llamada Chichiriviche que pertenece al estado Falcón, allí se puede encontrar unos cayos que son como unas pequeñas islas paradisiacas donde se pueden encontrar diferentes tipos de animales, aguas totalmente cristalinas y con arena muy blanca, muchos las catalogan como las mejores playas de Venezuela.

Para poder llegar hasta alla viaje mas de 12 horas en autobús, ya que yo vivo en la region andina especialmente en el estado Táchira, por lo que es bastante lejos de la costa, al llegar al estado Falcón nos dijirimos a Chichiriviche, alli se encuentran varios muelles que nos pueden hacer llegar a esta pequeñas islas y por supuesto que la única forma de llegar a ellas es a través de lanchas, yates, barcos o alguno de estos medios de transporte.

Existen diferentes cayos, yo fui a tres de ellos Cayo Sal, Cayo Sombrero y a Cayo Muerto, cada uno de ellos queda a diferentes kilómetros de la costa, el más lejos de todos es Cayo Sombrero que queda a 40 minutos, dependiendo de la temporada puede ser un poco más riesgoso llegar, en esta fecha que yo fui el mar estaba muy tranquilo el olíaje estaba suave no había ningún problema para llegar con los botes hasta allá.

Esta temporada vacacional en Venezuela siempre suele haber mucha gente en este tipo de lugares lo que hace que sea muy divertido porque siempre hay diferentes tipos de actividades como bailes en la orilla de la playa, actividades recreativas deportivas y muchos otros tipos de juegos.

A un lugar que fui que me pareció muy interesante es uno que se llama Los Juanes, en este lugar no hay una costa como tal simplemente el nivel del mar sobrepasa un poco el nivel de la tierra por lo que las lanchas y los yates se posicionan allí con música para que las personas se diviertan en el agua como si fuera una piscina en medio del mar.

Una de las cosas más resaltantes de estos cayos es el agua, ya que es totalmente cristalina y es un agua muy agradable de entrar debido a que no esta fria, es tibia como se encuentra en el mar Caribe estas aguas siempre se caracterizan por eso, además con la arena que es muy blanca se hacen unos paisajes muy bonitos.

Siempre es muy importante tener buen protector solar y excelente hidratación ya que el sol que hace en estas regiones es muy fuerte y las temperaturas llegan a superar los 30 °C

En este viaje acudí con mi familia lo teníamos planeado desde hace algunos meses y porfin se dio, es un destino que recomiendo al 100% porque se disfruta al máximo, un ambiente super relajante donde de pueden recuperar muchas energías y además hay muchas cosas que hacer, como para los que quieren mas diversión como también para los que desean pasar momentos de paz.

Una de las cosas que mas me gustan de estas pequeñas islas son la gran cantidad de palmeras que se pueden conseguir, por cada lugar que se vaya hay palmeras por doquier por lo que bebidas de coco, dulces de coco o cualquier derivado del coco es muy facil conseguir.

Estas playas son la mejores de Venezuela, su belleza natural las hace sumamente atractivas para viajar cada vez que se pueda y disfrutar de esos maravillosos paisajes, ademas de biodiversidad tan grande que hay, ya que cuenta con muchos arrecifes de coral y diferentes tipos de animales que se pueden encontrar en estas islas. Espero pronto volver a visitar estos grandiosos cayos.
