Views of Villafranca del Bierzo

My Work Route takes me to different destinations, all in Spain. Most of them in Galicia, but this time I had to go to the city of Villafranca del Bierzo, located in El Bierzo, Province of León (Autonomous Community of Castilla y León). As you can see, the political-territorial divisions have long names in Spain.
Villafranca del Bierzo is a very beautiful city. I liked it so much that I discussed it with Brenda, my wife, and we already selected it as a getaway for a weekend, on my next available weekend, as it is an ideal destination for the month of autumn.
Chestnut trees abound there, trees that produce chestnuts, dried fruits that begin to be ready at the end of October.
I fell in love with its views with spectacular skies and the intense reflections of the rising sun that casts the shadow of the mountain over a large sector of the city. Simply spectacular. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy these views, during a stop on the Route.

Vistas de Villafranca del Bierzo

Mi Ruta Laboral me lleva a diferentes destinos, todos en España. La mayoría en Galicia, pero en esta oportunidad me tocó llegar a la ciudad de Villafranca del Bierzo, ubicada en el Bierzo, Provincia de León (Comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León). Como ven las divisiones político-territoriales tienen largos nombres en España.

Villafranca del Bierzo es una ciudad muy bonita. Me gustó tanto que lo conversé con Brenda, mi esposa y ya la seleccionamos como escapada para un fin de semana, en mi próximo fin de semana disponible, pues es un destino ideal para el mes de otoño.

Allí abundan los castaños, árboles que producen las castañas, frutos secos que comienzan a estar listazs a finales del mes de octubre.

Me enamoraron sus vistas con unos cielos espectaculares y los intensos reflejos del sol ascendente que proyecta la sombra de la montaña sobre un amplio sector de la ciudad. Sencillamente espectacular. Fue maravilloso poder disfrutar estas vistas, durante un alto en la Ruta.
