The beauty before the metamorphosis [EN/PT]

This is the time of year when butterflies, or rather butterfly caterpillar, invade my house. It's even frightening for the plants and trees around here, as they turn into veritable “caterpillar tree”, as if they were fruit waiting to be picked.
One interesting detail I've noticed is the positioning of the caterpillar while they feed on the leaves: always at the bottom, both of the leaves and of the branches, never at the top. And there's a simple reason for this: nobody wants to become bird food.
It's curious to observe these little behaviors. At certain times, if you pay attention, you can see the leaves covered in small eggs, all close together. After a while, they break off, welcome life and give rise to these black and yellow striped caterpillar. Soon, they begin their pilgrimage away from the tree, looking for the ideal place to build their cocoon and stay there for a few weeks. I've already found cocoons inside the house, under the barbecue and even hidden in cupboards...
Soon, my yard will be full of butterflies in the same shades as the caterpillar, coloring our days!

Wow, there are so many of them. If they all pass the selection, your house will be filled with many beautiful butterfly.
I'm already seeing some coming out of their cocoons haha
One of the most amazing transformations in nature are caterpillars, all they do before they turn into butterflies and seeing how they always stick to leaves to stay away from birds is amazing because no one teaches them to do that, this is Pokemon 101, how eggs hatch and the caterpillars go in search of their own place to make their cocoons shows everything that happens before we see a butterfly and it's not just about the end result but all the steps they take to get there, nature does organize itself and every step is important from where the eggs are laid to where the cocoons hide and sometimes you find them in the strangest places like inside the house and that shows how much they want to survive, I think that when you observe all these parts you begin to appreciate the whole much more and not just the butterflies that fly at the end.
Indeed, the whole process shows us the beauty of metamorphosis, it's truly amazing to notice every detail when we observe it. I can say I'm privileged from time to time to see all of this happening right under my nose haha. Just a side note, Caterpie is Pokémon number 010 haha
