This is the statue of goddess Durga permanently installed beside of Masterdaa Surya Sen metro station in Kolkata. The goddess statue increased the beauty of this place. Durga puja (worship) is very famous in Kolkata. It is widely celebrated in Kolkata, though, the worship of goddess Durga happens all over India. If you visit Kolkata city during Navratri, you will come to know that how much it is popular here. This is my entry for PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 161.
