A walk to the Ganga River or Hooghly River - Part 1

This is the entrance to go to ride a boat. I am not talking about riding for fun. People use boat to cross the river. However, there are various types of transport system available to cross the river such as metro train that goes under the river, buses, private cars, and many more vehicles. I have ridden the boat only one time when I was very young. We had to visit Botanical Garden. Botanical garden is situated across the river. Apart of boat, there several ways to visit the garden and that are very fast transport system such as metro train. However, boat riding can be exciting in Hooghly river.

This is the gangway through which passengers reach the floating dock and wait for a boat. Everyone is allowed to reach the floating dock and see the ganga river from there. I also arrived on the floating dock and took many photos from there.

I took this photo from the dock. The day was very hot. The sun in the sky, and its reflection on the water, were clearly visible.

I took the photo of this boat when it was coming closer to the dock. That's it. I will show more photos in the next part.
