A Stick-Figure View Of My Weekend

This was weird, really weird but it was so much fun and that is why I loved the thought of exploring this option and decided to try it out... Didn't come out the best but hey! It's the participation and thoughts behind it that matters for me. I had so much smiles drawing these stick figures out and thinking about how my weekend has been going.

One random weekend! I'd say considering that I wasn't home all through like some weekends would go. It was as if I knew I'd need to write for this option, my weekend played out in a better way and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Friday - Welcomed my sister home from school

Friday came and I was all excited as my sister had called home to say she will be coming in the evening. Friday was a rainy day, it rained from morning till night time so yeah, that made my sister got home a bit late. But it didn't stop us from hugging each other happily, having our long talks while she settled down with her things.

She brought out a home made juice she did before coming and we sat down to have a taste of it while we continued talking... I loved and enjoyed the drink, but her return was the highlight of my Friday.

Saturday - Sent a delivery

My sister had brought some items she needed to send to another town far from where we stay, I decided to go with her since I figured I was always at home. Considering the high transport fees, I still went with her as it was an opportunity that rarely come by since I always prefer being at home blogging or watching movies.

We sent the delivery through a vehicle driver who was going in the direction and we took a few walks away from the park and bought some road side foods and fruits. Leaving the house, not alone but with my sister was the highlight for my Saturday.

Sunday - Went on a walk with my siblings

We just got back from the walk when I started to make these drawings and began to write now. I had a lot of fun today and I'm so happy I got to share it for this initiative, makes it even more fulfilling. The walk wasn't a long one but we got to see a river that's far from where we live.

We went there for an event but we took the opportunity to explore and take pictures of the big and flowing river... It was so fascinating to watch the waves on the river, and the place was calm too. So calm that our voices were heard from a far distance. The picture shows myself taking pictures and my Bro watching from behind 😅 I can't stop laughing right now.

There were many other activities I did through the weekend but I can't obviously sketch out all of them like I did with these, I'm still a learner with pencil drawings. Just glad these came out this way, I hope you won't laugh at me hehe.
