Eiffel Tower (from ground level)

The Eiffel Tower is truly a spectacular engineering feat and accomplishment courtesy of the 19th century..the old world. The Tower wasn't supposed to remain after the World's Fair, but here it was, 120+ years later. When I was in Paris in July 2014, the top level observation deck was closed, so my brother and I went up to the next-highest level. The wind was incredible, it was hard to stand upright with the currents rushing through.
Maybe one day, I will return to Paris, but I don't think the same city I saw still exists.

what a beautiful monument, I have always longed to go to paris. What camera did you take this picture with, I really like the framing you used? 😵
Tbh i dont remember the model, but it was a basic Nikon Point-and-shoot, maybe $100 new when it was bought. the photo was near a cafe down the road from it, surrounded by trees!
how interesting, I really like the framing you used, you have a good eye for photography. 😊
