Rincones curiosos y llenos de historia en el INCES Guaraguao📸 [Esp/Eng]

Espero que se encuentren bien. Ya casi es final de semana, y no puedo creer lo rápido que está pasando el mes. Además, intento olvidar la fecha porque cada día se acerca más mi cumpleaños. Y sí, cumplo en septiembre.Quizás se pregunten por qué no me gusta recordar mi cumpleaños, Es que para mí es un recordatorio de que pronto pasaré a una edad que empieza con un 2, y todo el mundo habla de la famosa "crisis de los 20”, así que prefiero disfrutar mis dulces 19 todo el tiempo que me queda.

En esta oportunidad quería compartirles un par de fotos que probablemente habrían quedado guardadas y olvidadas en mi galería, si no fuera porque empecé a eliminar fotos y me di cuenta de que estaban ahí. Así que decidí mostrarlas.

I hope you are all well. It's almost the weekend, and I can't believe how quickly this month is flying by. I'm trying to forget the date because my birthday is getting closer every day. Yes, my birthday is in September. You may wonder why I don't like to remember my birthday. It's because for me it's a reminder that I'll soon be entering an age that starts with a 2, and everyone talks about the famous “quarter-life crisis,” so I prefer to enjoy my sweet 19 for as long as I can.

This time, I wanted to share a couple of photos that would probably have remained stored and forgotten in my gallery, had I not started deleting photos and realized they were there. So I decided to show them.

Si leyeron mi último post para la comunidad, sabrán que estuve visitando el INCES de Guaraguao. Les comentaba que sus instalaciones estaban muy bien cuidadas y, además de eso, tenían algunas cosas interesantes que pude documentar.

Al entrar al INCES de Guaraguao, lo primero que ves son unas escaleras que llevan hacia los salones. Cuando vas subiendo, te encuentras con una imagen que, a mi parecer, parece un atardecer, pero viéndola bien da la impresión de ser el castillo de San Carlos de Borromeo, así que no tendría sentido que se viera el sol ocultándose de ese lado. La verdad es que no vi ninguna identificación del lugar y en las fotos que tengo tampoco aparecen, solo las firmas de los autores.

If you read my last post for the community, you will know that I visited the INCES in Guaraguao. I mentioned that its facilities were very well maintained and, in addition to that, they had some interesting things that I was able to document.

When you enter the INCES in Guaraguao, the first thing you see are some stairs that lead to the classrooms. As you climb the stairs, you come across an image that, to me, looks like a sunset, but when you look closely, it appears to be the castle of San Carlos de Borromeo, so it wouldn't make sense for the sun to be setting on that side. The truth is that I didn't see any identification of the place, and it doesn't appear in the photos I have either, only the signatures of the authors.

Además de eso, justo cuando terminas de subir las escaleras, te topas con una pared medio curveada con fotos en blanco y negro de lugares emblemáticos de la isla, impresas en papel fotográfico con un acabado muy brilloso. En persona se apreciaban muchísimo mejor, aunque en las fotos no salían tan bien. Aun así, la pared estaba bastante cool; las fotos en blanco y negro le daban un aspecto muy bonito.

On top of that, just as you finish climbing the stairs, you come across a slightly curved wall with black and white photos of iconic places on the island, printed on glossy photo paper. They looked much better in person, although they didn't come out so well in the photos. Even so, the wall was pretty cool; the black and white photos gave it a very nice look.

Entre las fotos que se muestran en la pared están la Basílica Menor de El Valle, el Fortín de La Galera (que siendo sincera, aunque vivo cerca, solo he visitado dos veces), la Laguna de La Restinga (otro lugar de la isla que no conozco y que espero visitar pronto) y el Monumento Natural Las Tetas de María Guevara. Este último me trae recuerdos de mi abuelo cantando su canción mientras íbamos en el ferry, desde donde se tiene una vista increíble de la isla

Among the photos displayed on the wall are the Basílica Menor de El Valle, the Fortín de La Galera (which, to be honest, even though I live nearby, I have only visited twice), the Laguna de La Restinga (another place on the island that I don't know and hope to visit soon), and the Las Tetas de María Guevara Natural Monument. The latter brings back memories of my grandfather singing his song while we were on the ferry, from where you have an incredible view of the island.
