Unexpected Love: A Groom Amidst Blooms
Hello to all my friends in the black and white community, I hope you are all doing well and everything is going smoothly there. This is Menti, and I'm back with another photoshoot and another blog post. This time, we have a handsome groom whom we photographed in front of a greenhouse, with the greenhouse flowers as our backdrop and its beautiful door as our foreground.
The groom is a close friend of mine who is around 40 years old, and interestingly, this is his first marriage. It truly shows that love can surprise you when you least expect it. Emad was one of those friends who had no interest in getting married, and I think he was one of the few people who always said he would remain single forever. However, everything changed for Emad in the blink of an eye, in a specific moment, time, and place, with the entrance of a beautiful girl into his life. He settled down very nicely, and everything took a different turn.
In the first photo I took, I positioned my model in the rule of thirds, looking towards my light source with a distinct smile on his lips. He has a particularly photogenic face, the kind that would suit certain cinematic roles – something I, with my background in videography, understand very well, as do my colleagues in the field. Our second photo is a full-length shot. I changed the position of my main light source, added depth of field to the image, and tried to include the triangular shape of the greenhouse in my frame. Interestingly, some foliage was also added to our photo. He had his hand in his pocket, holding the corner of his coat, and was looking to the side with a smile.
The third photo captures him preparing and adjusting his shirt cuff under his coat sleeve, with his face positioned somewhere between a profile and a three-quarter view. Finally, I asked him to look straight ahead and give his usual charming smile. Among the accessories he added to his look was a flower in his coat pocket, which I thought created a unique balance in his style and was personally very appealing to me
This wonderful greenhouse has fantastic spots for photography, although it could be even more beautiful in other seasons. I used two light branches for the photoshoot: the main light, my key light, was positioned at a 45-degree angle to my model, and I moved it around to his left and right in different shots. I also placed another light source inside the greenhouse, directed towards the back wall. Wishing Emad and all of you dear friends happiness. Until next time, farewell.
