Telling Two Stories Through Light and Shadow - monomad daily chalenge

Hello dear friends in the black and white photography community! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your photography journey. I am "Manti" and I am back with two new photography stories and a blog post. This time, I want to take you on a journey into the world of black and white photography and narrate the stories of two different models through light and shadow.

Portrait Photography with Smoke:

My first model, with a beautiful hat and the smoke created in the studio with a cigarette, had a unique and extraordinary appearance. We took some creative and engaging portrait photos together. In one of the photos, I asked the model to look down and express his inner sense of thought and contemplation. Black and white photography and the simple background helped to focus the viewer's attention on the model.

We created a dramatic atmosphere in the photo by using lighting and smoke. The lighting was done in such a way that the smoke was beautifully lit and gave the photo a mysterious and haunting feel. The model's long and beautiful mustache, in contrast to his shaved beard, doubled the visual appeal of the photo.

Photography in Nature:

My second model is a nature lover and, as a vegan athlete, enjoys the peace and quiet of nature. We went into nature for photography and created beautiful photos using sunlight and the shadows of trees. In one of the photos, the model is practicing in nature with a hammer in hand.

The flow of the hammer in the photo is related to a video we are preparing. While taking photos, we respected nature and did not damage it in any way. The photos in this collection evoked different feelings in me and each one told a story through light and shadow.

Black and white photography is a powerful tool for creating creative images and expressing emotions. In this article, I shared two examples of black and white photography, each telling a unique story. I hope you enjoyed this article and found it inspiring.
