Photography by the Waterfall — My First Post
Hello to all my dear friends. I am Menti. I am happy to meet you and recently, after three years of activity in different communities, I decided to share my content here as a photographer in this community that is dedicated to photographers, with better color and detail.
First of all, I want to say that I am Manti and the types of photography I usually do include wedding, traditional, advertising, fashion, modeling, child and family photography. I am here alongside one of my dear colleagues, Farid Shahedi, who is also active in this field and works with me. We are a photography studio with a team of and we share our work and this time we decided to publish everything in color here.
Our shoot today was about a couple. About a month after their wedding, we decided to do a formal shoot and create an introduction and casual video for them. We chose Tandoreh Forest Park which had a beautiful waterfall. This waterfall was perfect for the kind of unique photography we wanted.
Our bride, Neda, wore a long pink dress and held a bouquet of wildflowers that we prepared with our own event planning team. Neda’s curly hair matched perfectly with the forest, bouquet and the atmosphere of the location.
With the help of Farid Shahedi who was in charge of videography and another colleague who did the drone shots, we started the project and captured their romantic moments. When we arrived at the location, we had little time and needed to use sunlight as complementary light alongside our main lighting. Before starting, we cleaned the area a bit and later during editing, we corrected some parts to improve the final result.
At first, we asked Neda to stand alone in front of the waterfall. It was an incredibly beautiful and magical waterfall. Neda’s freshness along with the freshness of nature created a strong and eye-catching image. Neda moved her hands gracefully and with Farid Shahedi’s posing guidance, we were able to capture amazing photos.
Then, Pouria, Neda’s husband, joined the frame. We asked them to approach the waterfall so we could capture romantic footage and take beautiful photos. I stood a bit farther away so I wouldn’t interrupt the filming, especially the drone shots, and used a zoom lens to frame some great shots from a distance. For posing, we asked them to look at each other and those looks created very emotional and natural moments.
I really enjoy my job. Most of our clients come to us for their happy occasions and this makes our work environment filled with joy and positive energy despite all the effort and responsibility it requires.
We have more photos that we will share soon once they are edited because editing takes time. I am really happy to be here among you and I welcome your feedback so we can improve our work and engage more with each other.
At the end, I would like to extend a special thanks to the organizers of this community who have provided a platform for photographers to publish their work here.
We are a team of eight people in our studio and soon I will prepare an introduction post with some photos of our team members and our workspace. In the past three years of my activity in this field, many changes have happened in our work and team and I am glad we were able to grow the team.
An introduction video or post will be ready soon. Again, special thanks to all of you and to my dear colleague and companion Farid Shahedi who works with me using the studio equipment. Our equipment includes the Alpha 7 III and Alpha 7R III. As you know, the R III is more suitable for photography. We also have a Tamron 20mm lens, a Sony 50mm lens with f/1.8 and a Sigma Art DG DN 24mm lens with f/2.8 that we usually use for our photography and videography.
Have a good day. Until next time, goodbye.

Might I suggest that you bring the highlights and the exposure down a third of a stop in the background? A lot of the foliage is missing detail that is blown out in the highlights. Not sure if your raw file has enough data to recover those details?
I agree with you. I think its can be better browhen my monitor set and calibrated. Thanks for saying this point💎📸 Sorry for the delay in responding, unfortunately, the internet speed here sometimes decreases significantly and sometimes gets disconnected
I have my monitor calibrated and that looks much nicer!
After 15+ years of doing digital imaging, I got a data color spyder, and its so nice to have consistent (calibrated!) colours across all my screens and devices - and even across my operating systems!
That’s great! What display are you using? I’m really curious to see more of your work — I’d love for you to check out my videos too.
I have a PeakD Collection that covers most of my photography career.
My primary display is a 32" Samsung Odyssey G8 (mini LED) - 4K resolution, 165Hz, it is curved, and I also use it for gaming. Its a good compromise between a full on productivity monitor and something that is good for gaming without it being an OLED.
My laptop is just a M2 MacBook Air. I have a 22" Dell monitor in portrait orientation for text / messages / email etc, and it is nothing special.
Nature! What a beautiful scenery... from the waterfall to the trees and all
The couple are cute too
Thanks dear ❤️💎nice to meet u
