Groom in barbershop photography - monomad daily chalenge

Hello to all my friends in the Black & White community, it’s Menati here, back with another blog and another shoot!

This time, the story began with a groom visiting his trusted barber for final grooming. I was there for filming, but something about this man’s presence, his stillness and poise, caught my attention. So I lifted my camera and captured a few frames—photos that tell more than they show.

In the first photo, the groom sits in a tailored suit, staring directly into the lens with depth and certainty. The natural light accentuates his features and the fabric of his suit, highlighting both tension and grace.

The second photo reveals a softer side—his subtle smile tells of calm after the storm. The contrast between confidence and serenity is exactly what I aimed to preserve in the frame.

The third shot is a full-body portrait. With one hand on his jacket, he stands ready—not just physically, but emotionally—prepared for a new chapter.

The remaining images capture behind-the-scenes moments: the close bond between groom and barber, precise hands at work, and that final mirror shot with the three of us—me, the barber, and the groom. Three roles shaping an unforgettable day.

This is more than a photo session—it’s a visual narrative of trust, readiness, and silent transformation.

The mirror photo we took became a special keepsake — a memory of our three-person team: me, the groom, and his barber, Sina. Each of us focused on our own task, doing our best to make everything perfect. It was an incredible experience, and we all had a great time — especially later that night when we went to the wedding ceremony and fully enjoyed the celebration and joy.
Thank you for always being with me—with your attention, messages, and wonderful energy.
