Behind the Scenes: A Black and White Beauty Shoot - monomad daily chalenge

Hello everyone in the black and white community!

I hope everything is going well there. I'm Menti, and I'm back with another photography and blog post. This time, I took a photoshoot in a professional beauty salon with a talented makeup artist and a model who came in for a makeover.

The photoshoot took place during the makeup process, and you can see the preparations and the progress of the work. In the end, we see the model ready and taking some special poses in front of the mirror.

I composed my frames in such a way that the existing lights in the scene, which are particle lights, became part of my scene. Some of the photos were taken exactly while the makeup artist was applying makeup on the face.

Taking photos during the work process helps the poses to be very natural and conveys a better feeling in the photo. I did the photography in black and white, which gave the photos an incredibly beautiful atmosphere.

My model was wearing a suit and had a classic style, so the makeup was very soft and completely masculine. The chosen hairstyle also contributed to this classic look.

As you know, black and white photography can add a sense of depth and mystery to images. In this photoshoot, I was looking to create a dramatic and chic atmosphere that would match the model's classic style and the particle light lighting.

To achieve this goal, I used a combination of different photography techniques. For example, I used unusual angles and creative framing to create variety and dynamism in the images. I also used shadows and contrast effectively to highlight the subject and create a sense of depth.

Finally, I edited the photos to increase the clarity and contrast and also convert them to black and white. The end result is a series of images that are both beautiful and impactful.
