A Wedding Day Through My Lens _ monomad daily chalenge

Hello dear friends from the black and white community,
I’m Menti, and I’m back with a wedding collection that’s a little different—and full of soul.
From the moment I met this couple, I knew we weren’t going to follow any ordinary script. We didn’t want to simply “document” a wedding. We wanted to celebrate, laugh, play, and create memories that breathe.

The bride? Confident, stylish, and radiating joy. The moment she put on her sunglasses, everything shifted. The groom? Grounded and kind—a calm in the middle of the whirlwind.
These photos aren’t just moments, they’re fragments of a connection. The laughter, the playful gestures, the shot where her veil caught the wind—it all felt honest.

I used only natural light. The white wall and soft-curved windows helped create clean frames, while reflecting soft, even light on their faces. I avoided over-posing. Instead, I encouraged them to be themselves—and that freedom gave us pure magic.

Many of the frames are composed with intentional negative space. I played with diagonals to suggest movement, and in some shots, the balance between her flowing veil and the stillness of his presence told their story more than words could.

Their spontaneous poses, raised hands, candid giggles—those weren’t planned. But they were real. And that’s always what I’m looking for.
