Carole A. Feuerman’s famous hyperrealistic swimmer sculptures
This is Brooke with Beach Ball, part of Carole A. Feuerman's major public art installation on Michigan Avenue's Magnificent Mile in Chicago titled Monuments of Stillness.
This exhibition spans a 13-block stretch running from the Wrigley Building up to Oak Street.
These ultra-glossy, hyperrealistic swimmers glistening in the sun add a fun bit of summer to the city's downtown.
Carole Feuerman is renowned for these outdoor bronze and resin sculpiures with their incredible textures, like the look of wet skin and the texture of the swimwear.

This is the sculpture located at 900 N. Michigan Avenue (positioned outside the 900 North Michigan Shops (Disney Store)
There are 10 sculptures and I have photos of more of them and will share them in upcoming posts this week.

This exhibition is sponsored by Hilton Contemporary exhibits and will be there until mid November.

Feuerman's hyperrealism always gets me — the water droplets on skin look almost photographic even though it's sculpture. Thanks for spotlighting an artist a lot of us might not have come across otherwise.
It was my introduction to her work, too. Those warerdrops are fascinating.
Wow, what is this? At first I thought it was a real girl with a ball.
It is certainly different from tradition sculptures
To some extent, it may even seem scary, especially at night.
Wow, wow, wow! Looking at the thumbnail, I thought it was a real photo, not a piece of art. It looks so real.
I had never seen anything like this!
OMG it looks so real, the artist is really talented. Beautiful still life sculpture
Almost too perfect!
Impressive! Almost real!
I am impressed with this artist!
If I walked past this without knowing it was a sculpture, I probably would've thought someone was just standing there posing. 😅 Hyperrealism never stops amazing me lol.
All 10 of the sculptures in this exhibit are amazing!
Maybe I would be scared at night 🥲
I wonder what they look like under the street lights!
Hehe, I think u should bring someone with u before going there lol. What if they start moving! 🤣
Hahaha! The city does change at night.
Wow, looks so real.😍 Perfect title .👍 Can't wait to see the rest.🤗✨
Each one. Is pretty amazing!

It looks so real, especially the ball with the deformation caused by the little girl. Truly incredible. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a lovely day
Glad you enjoyed seeing these! It is a great exhibition!
This is amazing and look so real. Supporting Ecency is great. I am also doing it.
Thanks for your beneficiary support for Ecency. It is greatly appreciated.
I couldn't find it the way it's on a web page. Should be 5% like other frontends are having it. Would be easier that way. Ecency is our home and we all should contribute. Thank you
