WOW DAD! This Beach Looks Like A Picture! - Tahlia
Addiscot Beach
Located on Autralia's southern surf coast which is made popular by Bell's Beach a globally known and recognised surfing location is Addiscot Beach. A fantastic location for many families and a picturesque beach that you'd expect to see in postcards. It's everything you want and more!
A Few days ago I shared a few shots of the beach walk I went on and today I returned with the family to enjoy the surf and the sand. Although it wasn't as hot so we didn't get to go that much in the water there was still plenty of things to do. Back in my younger years, I used to do quite a bit of surfing myself. Living in Australia with nothing but coastline around you it's something you don't want to take for granted. The thrill of catching a wave is an epic feeling that can't really be explained until you have experienced it yourself.
Loaded with our body boards and a skimboard we hit the waves and the dunes. Addiscott beach is a place I used to come to quite a lot, it also doubles as a clothing optional beach down the other end which gets quite a bit of traffic in summer months. But with young kids it's safer to stay down the entry point of the beach.
The kids absolutely loved the thrill of riding the body board as I ran along the beach with them and pulled them through the waves, we then tried our luck on a few of the sand dunes. Little bloke wasn't the keenest to try the sand dunes but enjoyed the surf.
After an exhausting day we headed to morgans Bar and Grill for a steak which was absolutely delishous!
It was a great break after the troubling passed few weeks I have been having to deal with. just enjoying the sun and the waves and forgetting about life for a few hours was well and truly needed.
Stay tuned as I will be uploading our full feature video on the day out soon!

Aww
The beach is actually unbelievable because it looks too beautiful
Do you people also pay before gaining entrance into the beach over there?
No not here, there are many many beaches. That would be hard to enforce. Instead we have Department of Land, Water and Environment that tax many is provided to. So yes we do contribute to maintaining places
