Paseo Rápido por Playa Concorde [Esp/Eng]

Hace un par de meses tuve la oportunidad de ir a una playa a la cual nunca había ido, lo que me parece sorprendente porque nací en esta isla y a pesar de tener ya 20 años en ella, no termino de conocerla por completo. Por más que siempre se diga que la isla es chiquita, creo que al final se podrá tener hasta 40 años en la isla y ni así se terminará de conocer cada rinconcito jajajsa.

Para esta salida a esa playa, llamada Playa Concorde, fui con unas amigas y fue algo rápido. Yo arreglé un bolsito para llevar unas cositas, pero, yo no iba a tener la posibilidad de entrar a la playa, así que, una vez nos bajamos del carro y llegamos, una de las primeras cosas que decidí hacer fue caminar toda la playa.

A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to visit a beach I had never been to before, which I find surprising because I was born on this island and, despite having lived here for 20 years, I still don't know it completely. Even though people always say that the island is small, I think that even if you lived here for 40 years, you still wouldn't get to know every little corner of it LOL.

For this trip to the beach, called Concorde Beach, I went with some friends and it was a quick visit. I packed a small bag to take a few things with me, but I wasn't going to be able to go on the beach, so once we got out of the car and arrived, one of the first things I decided to do was walk the entire length of the beach.

Así lo primero que haría sería conocer el espacio por completo. Comencé a caminar sin que mis pies tocaran el agua y lo primero que notaba es que no es una playa tan grande, tiene gatitos y ese día había una gran catnidad de personas. Incluso cuando el clima cada cierto tiempo se ponía algo nublado.

So, the first thing I would do would be to get to know the space completely. I started walking without my feet touching the water, and the first thing I noticed was that it's not such a big beach. It has kittens, and that day there were a lot of people. Even when the weather got a little cloudy from time to time.

Ya después sí decidí caminar un poco mas cerca del agua para sentirla con los pies, y notar que el agua se encontraba un poco cristalina, y llevarme con la sorpresa de ver peces. Fui acercándome un poco más para intentar tomarle unas fotos, pero, no se veían en mi cámara. Lo que puedo decir, es que eran casi del color de la arena de la playa jasja.

Y fue justo ahí también cuando me dí cuenta que es una playa sin oleaje. Razón por la cual pude ver que esta playa estaba más llena de niños pequeños y familias, que de personas jóvenes. Y realmente me parece ideal.

Then I decided to walk a little closer to the water to feel it with my feet, and I noticed that the water was a little crystal clear, and I was surprised to see fish. I got a little closer to try to take some pictures, but I couldn't see them on my camera. What I can say is that they were almost the same color as the sand on the beach, haha.

And it was right then that I realized it's a beach without waves. That's why I could see that this beach was more crowded with young children and families than with young people. And I really think it's ideal.

Luego de hacer todo mi recorrido, pude notar que habían varios puestos para comer, había un puestico para comprar cositas como recuerditos, trajes de baño, gorros y muchas cositas de playa. Pude ver algunas personas practicando kayak, otras sumergiéndose a ver los peces y otras simplemente pasando el rato.

After completing my tour, I noticed that there were several places to eat, and there was a small stall selling souvenirs, swimsuits, hats, and many other beach items. I saw some people kayaking, others diving to see the fish, and others just hanging out.

Un ratito después, cuando ya habíamos recorrido de todo un poco, subimos a la terraza de un restaurante, que, para la hora que era, se me hacía raro que no estuviera funcionando. Aunque en realidad desconozco si brinden ese servicio, pero, en su terraza pude tomar algunas fotitos.

A little while later, when we had seen a bit of everything, we went up to the terrace of a restaurant, which, given the time of day, I found strange that it wasn't open. Although I don't actually know if they offer that service, I was able to take some photos on the terrace.

Después me quedé un ratito sentada en la parte de afuera del restaurante en unos pequeños banquitos y una especie de barra, que al ver hacía arriba, pude notar que tenía unos adornos colgando, como barquitos.

Then I sat outside the restaurant for a while on some small benches and a kind of bar, and when I looked up, I noticed that it had some decorations hanging from it, like little boats.

No diría que me fascinó esa playa, porque realmente no soy fan de las playas tan pequeñas y que el calor era inmenso. Sin embargo, era un ambiente muy agradable y con linda vista. Además, que sea una playa sin oleaja sin duda siento que le da un plus.

I wouldn't say I was fascinated by that beach, because I'm not really a fan of such small beaches, and the heat was intense. However, it was a very pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view. Also, the fact that it's a beach without waves definitely gives it a plus in my opinion.
