Pandilla Plumífera/Feathered Gang

Hola a todas las pequeñas personitas que se encuentran acá💛. Espero que estén teniendo un día increíble. Hoy quiero contarles un pequeño momento que me distrajo un poco mientras hacía las tareas del hogar

Hace 2 días estuve limpiando la casa, y al salir para limpiar también el pasillo de afuera, me encontré con estas palomitas.

A mí realmente no me gustan las aves y menos las palomas. Es algo personal, la verdad, no tiene nada que ver con si son lindas o no jajaj, simplemente nunca tuve esa conexión de “¡ay, qué tiernas las palomitas!” Pero, se me hizo raro verlas justo frente a mi casa.

Cuando me acerqué un poco más a ellas, noté que había muchas semillas alrededor y justo por eso estaban ahí. Y es que, resulta que mi mamá suele ponerle semillitas y algo de agua. Básicamente, son como unas mascoticas callejeras que vienen a visitar a mi mamá todos los días por su snack gratis. Pero aún así, era la primera vez que yo las veía.

Me acerqué para tomarles fotitos y me hizo gracia porque estas señoras palomas ya se sienten dueñas del territorio. Pues, cuando me acerqué con el celular ni se inmutaron, cero miedo. Ya tienen tanta confianza con las personas que ni los carros las asustan. Ellas ahí, de lo más campantes, comiendo su almuerzo al aire libre mientras yo limpiaba.

Mientras les tomaba las fotos, no pude evitar acordarme de las tres palomas que aparecen en la película Bolt. Esas que parecen parte de una mini pandilla, con su flow callejero y todo. Estas que me encontré son igualitas, parecen tener su propia mafia jajaja 😆

De hecho, por lo que me cuenta mi mamá, es como si estas se reunieran horas antes para ponerse de acuerdo, tipo: “Mañana a las 11 nos reunimos frente a la casa de la señora de las semillas, ¿entendido?”

En fin. Luego de esa mini sesión a las señoras palomas continue limpiando. Lo curioso es que, aunque no me gusten mucho las palomas, ese momento se me hizo un poco divertido.

Hello to all the little people who are here💛. I hope you're having an amazing day. Today I want to share a small moment that distracted me a bit while I was doing household chores.
Two days ago, I was cleaning the house, and when I went outside to clean the front hallway, I ran into these little pigeons.
Honestly, I don’t really like birds, and especially not pigeons. It’s a personal thing, really, it has nothing to do with whether they’re cute or not, haha. I just never had that connection of “Oh, how adorable, little pigeons!” But still, it was strange to see them right in front of my house.
When I got a bit closer, I noticed there were a lot of seeds scattered around, and that’s exactly why they were there. It turns out that my mom usually puts out seeds and some water for them. Basically, they’re like little street pets that come visit my mom every day for their free snack. But even so, it was the first time I had seen them.
I got closer to take some pictures of them, and it made me laugh because these lady pigeons already feel like they own the place. When I approached them with my phone, they didn’t even flinch, zero fear. They’re so comfortable around people that even cars passing by don’t scare them. They just sit there, casually enjoying their outdoor lunch while I was cleaning.
While I was taking their photos, I couldn’t help but think of the three pigeons from the movie Bolt. You know, the ones that look like a little gang, with their street vibe and all. The ones I found were exactly like that—they look like they have their own mafia haha 😆.
Actually, from what my mom tells me, it’s like they meet up hours before to plan everything, like: “Tomorrow at 11, we meet in front of the seed lady’s house, understood?”
Anyway, after that little photo session with the lady pigeons, I continued with my cleaning. The funny thing is that, even though I don’t like pigeons very much, that moment turned out to be quite amusing.
