It is absolutely time for a fresh NEIPA! Overflow by Sofia Electric Brewing!

Well, well… After my last post where I presented a local, Bulgaria brewed beer, it is time for another one. There are of course numerous breweries from all the European countries, which come at reasonable prices, but having something fresh and local is the best option!

Today, being one of the last relatively warmer days of the year gelt like the best time to enjoy a refreshing NEIPA. This time the brewery is located in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, and I think it is one of the more recent breweries that launched in the country. With “more recent” I mean like 4 or 5 years ago.

The design of the can isn’t something glorious and booming, but it definitely creates a fresh vibe with these colors. Can the beer flow into my cup now? I mean… without OVERFLOWING… 😁

Now about the appearance… color wise it looks beilliant. Golden straw with nothing brownish. This is a sign for a fresh and non oxidized beer. The head is fine and thick. Beer looks welcoming and ready to be tasted. Time to see how it completes the image.

The mouthfeel is definitely thick. It is quite juicy and you can feel the vast amounts of hops that are used for flavoring. The vibe that comes to my soul is quite suitable for the summer heat and I really feel happy to enjoy it during these warm days.

The balance is really amazing and I cannot feel anything missing from the equation. The recipe is perfectly assembled and the beer is extraordinarily well brewed. I really cannot find flows here. In a few words, OVERFLOWING with good stuff.

Would I like to buy another one? Definitely yes… Would I be able to find one around me, in the small local beer shops? May be difficult. But… If I find one, I would definitely like to buy another one or two.
