A weekend visit to the Bulgarian seaside with the kids.

There is something very charmful of making spontaneous decisions. And although we tend to book our summer holidays in advance, at least 5 or 6 months, this time we decided and found our place about one week earlier.

The initial plan was to go without the big boys, because we needed a little bit of time alone, only in the company of the baby. Taking care of three kids is not a very relaxing experience at all, so we thought a weekend without them would be ideal for us to recharge our batteries. But… after all we decided to travel as a whole and have some fun family time together.

Our booking was an appartment in a building that is located on the beach. Actually it is on a strip, between the sea and a big salty lake, which is famous with its health benefits, but this will have more sense for is after some more years. 😁

The location on the bach was something that we wanted for sure and this was our main search criteria. It is extremely convenient to put on swimsuits, take the beach umbrella and the tent and just pop on the beach. No car needed and you can go back to the appartment if an emergency situation with the kids happens. Priceless!

We had prepared most of the food ourselves so we weren’t dependent on reataurants and shops. For the beachtime we bought a lot of fruits and made some sandwiches, and we took some beverages in a cool box. Everything we needed was with us on the beach and this meant that kids had a great deal of time to just play with the sand and the water.

The baby was usually situated in the tent and she really seemed to have a good and happy time too. She was safer inside and was protected from the blasting sun and the sand as well.

Who said beer? And it was extremely cold!

The evenings were spent in long walks. When we book All Inclussive hotels we usually have a wide variety of activities inside the complex and now we were free to walk around the city of Pomorie. Lickily the weather in the evenings was not that hot and we were very comfortable when we were walking towards the ice cream shop.

Boys go with mommy while daddy carries the baby girl. Such a priceless time. We really think that we have to spend as much time as we can with our kids, because some day they will have their own lives and nothing will bring back that happy family time.

Although we were on that vacarion for just two nights, all the dealing with baggage was worth it and our little beasts had a lot of fun time. When they are happy, mommy and daddy are happy too!
