(Edited)

Hi everyone. I'm back once again and here's my entry for the #monomad challenge. The visuals I want to share with you today are my shots during our tour at Ocean Park here in the Philippines. These photos are examples of reptiles.

Reptiles are cold-blooded vertebrates. (Vertebrates have backbones.) They have dry skin covered with scales or bony plates and usually lay soft-shelled eggs.

I hope you will enjoy seeing these pictures:

Broadleysaurus Major

Broadleysaurus or commonly known as Sudan plated lizard, is a species with stout bodies, short limbs, and moderately broad tails. They are easily recognized by its heavily armored appearance. The body and tail are covered in transverse bands of more or less square plate-like keeled scales, and head shields are fused to the skull. Its handsomeness can be seen in the picture above, because of its stance.

Central Bearded Dragons are like a dragon, it’s equipped with armor of spiny reptilian scales, which include a “beard” of spikes under its chin that puffs up depending on its mood.

At first glance at this picture, anyone would think that there are only three bearded dragons, but the truth is that there are four of them in the picture. When I took their picture, I didn't immediately notice one bearded dragon at their feet. This is also because the stone they are standing on is actually the color of that bearded dragon. Another interesting thing about this picture is that they look like they are ready for a family picture, because of their arrangements and posture. In fact, they did not move during those times.

Collared Lizard

The collared lizard (Crotaphytus collaris) is distinguished by the two black collars around its neck. Hence, the name they were called was taken from there.

Look at the two collared lizards in the picture above. It can be seen that the two look like a couple and are kissing each other.

Anoles

Anoles are any of more than 250 species of small tree-dwelling lizards related to iguanas (family Iguanidae). They are a common lizards, slender in build, with a narrow head and a long, slender tail that can be twice as long as the rest of the animal. They are usually in green color, but it can change its color to blend with the surroundings.

Chlamydosaurus Kingii

Chlamydosaurus Kingii is one of Australia's most distinctive and familiar dragon lizards. The general coloring of this lizard is grey-brown. And its most distinguishable feature is the large Elizabethan-like ruff or frill that it raises abruptly around its neck when it becomes alarmed. The frill lies like a cape over its shoulders until erected.

In this picture, you can see that the Chlamydosaurus Kingii looks like it's praying, because it's looking up. But it may also be just waiting for something to eat.

Albino Python

Albino Python are also called royal pythons. They get this name by literally being worn like jewelry in other countries. From the picture, it can be seen that it has been really well taken care of. It is because of its inherent beauty and size. Maybe I won't be able to carry it if I make it into jewelry around my neck.

They are in differ appearance with coral snakes. A key difference is nonvenomous king and milk have black bands that touch red bands, while coral snakes have yellow bands that touch red.

White Pine Snake

This pine snake has a gray pattern along its back. Other pine snakes has plenty of patterns on their body, but this white pine snake is different. In this picture, you can see that this snake seems like a child because of its eye. Pine snakes have this kind of eye.

Matamata Turtle

The matamata is a South American turtle with a striking appearance. Its shell, is rough and knobby, and its long neck has skin fringes, bumps, and ridges. The matamata has a flat head features, a wide mouth and a long, snorkel-like snout.

Of all the photos I have taken, this matamata turtle is my favorite. Because in this picture, it can be seen that he is smiling at you. And he made my day because of his smile while I was photographing him.

I hope you like my visuals again. Thank you for the likes and support. I really appreciate it. Have a nice day, everyone!
