Hi everyone! This is my entry for #monomad challenge entitled "Hard Times". Have you ever experienced having hard times? Does that time you can only do is to break down and cry? The times that you don't know what to do or how to overcome it? Life is hard, right? So, what can we do during hard times?

We are all experiencing hard times such us sickness, death, fear, family problems, tough economic conditions, crimes, and immorality. But have you ever thought if there is a one person experiencing all of these at the same time?

But have you ever thought if there is a one person experiencing all of these at the same time? I'm not saying that I'm also experiencing all the hard times that I mentioned but, I'm just wondering if there is someone out there wherein the deep, deep, deep dark place right now. Does anybody hear him/ her? Can anybody see him/ her?

It is true that we also think about many problems in life, but even so, we should still open our hands to those in need or to people who are looking for sympathy and to talk to. Most of those who commit suicide because of difficulties, are people who think that no one will help them or care about them. All they feel is the thought that they are the only ones in the world. That's why, as a being with a moral mind, let's not close our eyes for them. Your help is not in vain. The time will come when they will also help you when you need someone to lean on. But remember, we will not help because we have to do it, but because it is right and what God wants us to do.

What can we do during hard times? 🤔

I. We can lift our eyes for help. (Psalm 121)

• Looked up to our Omnipotent Creator.

v2 "My help comes from the Lord , the Creator of heaven and earth!"

• Looked up to our Omnipresent Lord.

v3 "May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!"
v4 "Look! Israel's protector does not sleep or slumber!"

• Looked up to our Compassionate Savior.

v5 "The Lord is your protector; the Lord is the shade at your right hand."
v6 "The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night."

• Looked up to our Guarding God.

v7 "The Lord will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life."
v8 "The Lord will protect you in all you do, now and forevermore."

• We can look to the Lord to save us.

"Let your hearts be turned to me, so that you may have salvation, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is no other."
Isaiah 45:22

• We can Look to the Lord to keep us.

"Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for he himself has said, I will be with you at all times. So that we say with a good heart, The Lord is my helper; I will have no fear: what is man able to do to me?"
Hebrews 13:5-6

II. We can lift our eyes for His coming.
"But when these things come about, let your heads be lifted up, because your salvation is near." Luke 21:28

Everyone, hard times are temporary because Christ will come again and He will make a way. (Revelation 21:3-4)

v3 "And there came to my ears a great voice out of the high seat, saying, See, the Tent of God is with men, and he will make his living-place with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God."
v4 "And he will put an end to all their weeping; and there will be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain; for the first things have come to an end."

This is what I do whenever I face problems. I only hold on to God's promises to us. The time will come when He will take away all the pain and wipe the tears from my eyes. Apart from that, I also ask God for strength through prayer and to send someone to remind me and help me through my trials in life.

Friends, we should not be troubled, we should not be discouraged, we should not fear.

We must focus our eyes on Jesus and be with our Father's business.
