Natural beauty seems to bring a message of peace to our busy lives The peace that comes from getting lost in nature or gazing at the beauty of a beautiful flower cannot be expressed in words. Such an experience was borne out in a recent evening photograph of me where the focal point was an impossibly beautiful purple flower locally known asthe bluebell The bluebell flower scientifically known as Torenia fournieri is basically an annual plant thatis quite popular among garden lovers.

Its soft, delicate petals eye catching purple color and white or yellow spots in the middle create a captivating atmosphere A special feature of this flower is that its beauty is not only for the eyes to see but it also acts as a means of attracting pollinating insects like bees and butterflies in nature I took the pictures one afternoon when the sun was gradually disappearing into the western sky The light was soft as if nature itself had arranged the best light forthe camera There was a special feeling during the photography The flowers swayed inthe wind silently saying something I wanted to capture this silent beauty of theirs in the camera frame.

There is a kind of simplicity in the beauty of the flower It is not like a royal rose or it is not as flashy as a sun kissed one yet its quiet beauty touches our hearts As if it says I am silently but fully This silent beauty draws me back again and again and forces me to pick up the camera every time We often forget how perfect an artist nature is But sometimes on such an afternoon a flower like this reminds us we don't have to go far to find beauty the fascination of nature is spread all around us These photographs are not just the result of a camera click but an attempt to express a moment of love tranquility and gratitude towards nature In this blue voiced flower I have found that silent song, which is not only seen with the eyes but also felt with the heart.
