Tettigoniidae
In the afternoon the sky was soft with green nature all around At that time I was walking in nature with my mobile camera in my hand While wandering among the trees I suddenly saw a strange and beautiful insect sitting quietly on a green leaf At first I thought it was a grasshopper or a small jumping insect but after looking closely I realized that it was a black winged grasshopper Bush cricket or Long horned Cricket whose scientific name is Tettigoniidae which could be a member of the family I immediately captured some photographs of it on my mobile While capturing these photographs I felt how much extraordinary beauty is hidden even in the small creatures of nature Its body was made of a mixture of shiny brown and black colors as if nature had painted it with its own hands Its two long slender trunks reddish legs and sparkling eyes showed how alert and conscious it was Its position on the green leaves was as if it was creating a wonderful color combination with nature Every time I looked at my mobile its every gesture fascinated me.
The insect was sitting very quietly sometimes moving a little and sometimes moving its trunks Its movements were slow but firm It also had its own world A small but deep life story that many of us do not see or ignore This grasshopper like insect is usually seen more in the summer season They survive by eating leaves small insects or other plants The most attractive aspect of their body is their long trunk which makes them sensitive to their environment Through this trunk they understand the sounds touches and smells around them which are very important for their survival The pictures taken on my mobile this afternoon are not just a glimpse of an insect but an opportunity to see the beauty of nature with new eyes We often ignore small beauties in preference to seeing big scenes or something huge but nature reveals such a perfect beauty in every one of its small creations that calms our minds teaches us to think and makes us grateful.
When I showed these photographs to my friends they were all surprised and said I have never noticed such a beautiful insect before Then I realized how many things we really cannot see even when they are right in front of our eyes A click on our mobile brings before our eyes the form that awakens our minds anew Todays experience has taught me that beauty is not only in something huge but also in every small element of nature Seeing this insect I realized that if we take a little time to pay attention to the small things around us we can discover something new every day The gentle light of this afternoon the softness of the green leaves and the moment of capturing a small insect on our mobile will remain etched in my heart for a long time Teaching us to love all such wonderful creations of nature should be part of our true education.
