Rethink of your engagement.

In today's digital age, it is difficult to find a young person who does not have a smartphone, and social media is a part of our daily lives where we use our time – scrolling through reels, liking posts, and watching viral videos. While there are benefits to this connectedness and entertainment, I propose that many of us are missing the opportunity to do things that could quite possibly change our lives. Time is one of our most valuable currencies, and how we use it is important now more than ever in the digital world we live in today.

Every hour spent mindlessly watching videos with no return of value is one hour that could stand to be spent building. What if we shifted our mindset to focus on leveraging being a content creator or contributor on platforms that reward our time or usage? The youth need to shift their attention to doing rather than scrolling; it is time to stop being social media users and start being digital earners and builders.

That is where blockchain and Web3 come into play; it's the new paradigm of accounts where they offer a platform where people can truly own their content, get rewarded for their creative potential, and build communities that operate in a more open and equitable manner, working together. Many young people today are sitting on opportunities they don't even know they possess. Whether it is storytelling, photography, music, or technical skills, there is space for all of us on the blockchain. The main ingredients are your commitment to it and your willingness to learn. Web3 isn't a trend; it is a movement. The blockchain will soon be a part of everyone's internet experience, just as social media is. People are using it every day without even realising it.

The future is here; it just isn't evenly distributed. The people that are taking steps now, who are entering the Web3 world and establishing their places in it, are going to be the leaders of tomorrow. They will be the people everyone is looking to when the rest of the world tries to catch up. This is an opportunity to be ahead, not behind.
