Bienvenidos a mi blog, que tal sus días mis amigos?. Espero disfrutaran a su estilo de estos días de descanso sumado al disfrute de esta tradición del carnaval en cada región de nuestra querida Venezuela. Bueno les cuento que yo la pase muy bien, descansando y disfrutando de estas tradiciones muy populares en mi pueblo. Me encanta presentar hoy mi participación en esta iniciativa hablando de lo que mas nos gusta de los carnavales, sobre todo porque soy de un pueblo donde los carnavales han sido desde muchos años un icono y legado en cada corazón de sus habitantes.
Welcome to my blog, how are your days my friends? I hope you enjoyed these days of rest and enjoyment of this tradition of carnival in every region of our beloved Venezuela. Well I tell you that I had a great time, resting and enjoying these very popular traditions in my town. I am delighted to present today my participation in this initiative talking about what we like most about carnivals, especially because I am from a town where carnivals have been for many years an icon and legacy in every heart of its inhabitants.
Soy y vivo en Carupano-Edo Sucre, un pueblito del oriente venezolano donde la tradición del Carnaval, las llevamos en nuestro código genético. Es increíble como esta tradición y esta pasión por la celebración de estas tradiciones crece con uno desde muy niño, y les cuento amigos yo no soy de andar de rumbas ni anda de eso, pero es algo que se lleva en la sangre que no lo puedo negar hasta es innato sentir este orgullo de esta gran tradición. Mis padres tampoco eran de rumbas y fiestas pero disfrutaban de estas festividades a su estilo nos disfrazaban y nos llevaban a ver las hermosas comparsas y carrozas que les cuento era todo un magno evento, ver las belleza, disciplina, majestuosidad de comparsas, carrozas, bandas shows los tengo grabado en mi memoria como los mas hermoso recuerdo de esta tradición en mi pueblo.
I live in Carupano-Edo Sucre, a small town in eastern Venezuela where the tradition of Carnival, we carry in our genetic code. It is incredible how this tradition and this passion for the celebration of these traditions grows with one from a very young age, and I tell you friends I am not a rumbas person, but it is something that is carried in the blood that I can not deny it is innate to feel this pride in this great tradition. My parents were not into rumbas and parties either, but they enjoyed these festivities in their own style, they dressed us up and took us to see the beautiful troupes and floats, which I tell you was a great event, to see the beauty, discipline, majesty of the troupes, floats, bands and shows, I have them engraved in my memory as the most beautiful memories of this tradition in my town.
Por muchos años estos carnavales fueron catalogados como Internacionales y reconocidos mas allá de nuestras fronteras, atrayendo inmensa cantidad de turistas nacionales e internacionales, era increíble ver ríos y ríos de gente de cada lado por la calle Juncal por donde pasan los desfiles. Como todos sabemos debido a la actual crisis que ya desde hace años vive Venezuela, se ha visto también reflejada en los carnavales, donde ha decaído en gran proporción la presentación de esas majestuosas carrozas y comparsas. Sin embargo hay algo que se mantiene intacto la pasión del Carupanero para salir con sus hijos, familiares , amigos a disfrutar de estas fiestas sin importar que ya los desfiles no tengan el mismo impacto visual que hace años atrás. Ahora se ve mas personas que la cantidad de comparsas en los carnavales, que a pesar de solo ser unos minutos para ver las comparsas y carrozas no limite al carupanero para mantener su orgullo por estas festividades.
For many years these carnivals were classified as International and recognized beyond our borders, attracting huge numbers of national and international tourists, it was incredible to see rivers and rivers of people on each side of Juncal Street where the parades pass. As we all know, due to the current crisis that Venezuela has been experiencing for years, it has also been reflected in the carnivals, where the presentation of these majestic floats and parades has declined to a great extent. However, there is something that remains intact, the passion of the Carupanero to go out with their children, family and friends to enjoy these festivities, regardless of the fact that the parades no longer have the same visual impact as years ago. Now you see more people than the number of parades in the carnivals, which despite only being a few minutes to see the parades and floats does not limit the carupanero to maintain their pride in these festivities.
Este año a pesar de la situación económica se noto un poco mas de afluencia y brillo del carnaval en carupano, con respecto a los dos últimos años que debido a la pandemia y restricciones fuero poca las participaciones de los sectores, escuelas, instituciones en el carnaval. Se sentía en las calles esa alegría, por ir retomando la magnitud de esta gran tradición del pueblo carupanero que lo ha caracterizado siempre, que desde el primero de Enero el pueblo vive con el grito del carnaval la tradición mas emblemática de este pueblo, hasta el miércoles de ceniza.
This year, in spite of the economic situation, we noticed a little more affluence and brightness of the carnival in Carupano, with respect to the last two years that due to the pandemic and restrictions there was little participation of the sectors, schools, institutions in the carnival. It was felt in the streets that joy, to go retaking the magnitude of this great tradition of the people carupanero that has always characterized it, that from the first of January the people live with the cry of the carnival the most emblematic tradition of this town, until Ash Wednesday.
Ver a los niños disfrazados, y felices por ir al ver al carnaval, los padres acompañando a sus hijos que participan en las comparsas bien preparados con su hidratacion y meriendas, con largas jornadas de caminata disfrutanosela sin importar el sol, la lluvia, el cansancio, a los jóvenes disfrutando con sus amigos entre el bochinche y la buena música, es un sentimiento que se proyecta y se vive en el ambiente contagiando a todos de esta gran fiesta del carnaval, no hay tradición mas fuerte para este pueblo que el carnaval.
Seeing the children in costume, and happy to go to the carnival, the parents accompanying their children who participate in the parades well prepared with their hydration and snacks, with long days of walking enjoying it regardless of the sun, rain, fatigue, young people enjoying with their friends between the bochinche and good music, is a feeling that is projected and lived in the environment infecting everyone of this great celebration of carnival, there is no stronger tradition for this town than the carnival.

Muchas gracias por la invitación. Por esas imágenes estuvo apoteósico cómo siempre los carnavales en Carúpano. Bellas las carrozas y las comparsas muy variadas. Todas la vida en tu pueblo se han celebrado los mejores carnavales de Venezuela y del mundo. Los mejores carnavales del mundo son los de mi país, pero esos de mi niñez, aun tengo los mejores recuerdos. Unos tíos que siempre iban a carupano por esas fechas en años pasados volvían encantados.
