Historical monuments | This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
On my most recent visit to La Coruña, I was walking around the Plaza de María Pita and my attention was drawn to two buildings with beautiful and old facades, then I learned that the longest is the Municipal Palace building, it has many windows and a large hallway with several arches in front, I also learned that inside there is a museum of clocks and a gallery with portraits of all the mayors, to my bad luck the building was closed at the time I passed by the place.
Another of these images is the San Jorge Church, it is a building of baroque architecture that together with the City Hall building forms a museum around the Plaza de Maria Pita.
Thank you for stopping by. See you soon!

Thanks a lot! :D
hat sounds like a great visit to La Coruña! The Plaza de María Pita is a beautiful square, and the Municipal Palace and San Jorge Church are two of the most impressive buildings in the city.
The Municipal Palace is a stunning example of neoclassical architecture. It was built in the early 1800s, and it's one of the most important civic buildings in La Coruña. The palace houses a museum of clocks, as you mentioned, as well as a gallery of portraits of all the mayors of La Coruña.
Aha! You did your homework to do more research, I see you like old buildings. I too love old towns and old architecture. I hope I get lucky the.next time I go and get to go inside the building.
Thanks for stopping by, Malos! ;)
