Centro Ceremonial Otomí, Mx

Mexico is a country with a lot of religious culture of their ancestors, and although some of their temples were destroyed during the colonial era, many people have rebuilt their religious places, maybe not exactly like the original ones but as close as possible to the ancestral religious centers.
This is the case of the otomí people, who in 1980 built the Otomi Ceremonial Center to continue with their religious manifestations according to their beliefs and customs.
This weekend I had the opportunity to visit this place, and although it is built by a modern man, it still makes you feel like you are in an ancient place.
It is surrounded by a dense vegetation of pine forest, with abundant wildlife where deer predominate, its climate is especially cool and quite foggy.
It really is a place you have to visit even if you are not religious.
Thanks for stopping by
