Bouzas Fish Walk In Black and White!
It's been a long time since I've shared anything on my blog, and it's not because I don't want to. Hi friends! I love sharing on the blockchain and reading what you write, but these last few months have been very busy in my life. After my husband's surgery and with two jobs, I only have time to breathe. Well, I'm exaggerating a little! 😁
By the way, my husband's surgery went well. He is still in the recovery stage and adapting to the medications he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. Thank you to everyone who commented on the post where I shared the bad news.
But now I don't want to dwell on my personal issues, as the purpose of this post is to share images that help me relive pleasant moments and transport me to places I always like to visit.
The Bouzas neighborhood in Vigo has a special place in my heart. It's one of the places I like to go to have coffee, walk, or ride my bike. I can't wait for my husband to be able to ride his bike again so we can return to this promenade that I'm sharing with you in these photos.
Bouzas is a very dynamic neighborhood. It has several popular café bars on its boardwalk, its festivals attract many visitors, and its fireworks displays are the most watched in Vigo. It's a spectacle that is enjoyed every year, although I missed it this year for important reasons. I hope I can see them next year.
There are many reasons to visit Bouzas, but the most notable is its 2-kilometer-long promenade, where the views of the estuary at sunset are spectacular! I've already shared some photos of them! And there's a very special section called the fish promenade, where you can see sculptures of the different fish and mollusks found in the Vigo estuary. Here are some pictures of these sculptures.
The promenade has a bike path and many benches where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. It's definitely a place where you can relax a little while listening to the waves breaking on the rocks. I think it's one of my favorite places near home.
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge!

They are very unique sculptures, and I love them, especially the crab! I loved the photographs. Best wishes!
I'm glad you liked them.
A very well-achieved photo @mballesteros friend, with an exciting curved vanishing point, an excellent composition using backlit figures, and also a wonderful and very interesting combination of natural and urban elements!... And as a street accent: That friendly seagull perched on the lamppost!... Wow!
I had not seen that seagull! 😂 You are very detailed! Thanks for the support my friend. Have a nice week.
