Casita de Familia Private Pool in Polangui: Where We Celebrated a Simple Farewell

Last Sunday was a little bittersweet for us. After months of helping with our Kingdom Hall renovation, three of our volunteer crew members were heading home.
To show our appreciation and to spend a little more time together, we gathered at the Casita de Familia Private Pool for a simple farewell celebration.
It is a private villa-style property in Balinad, Polangui, Albay, Philippines that's known for its charm and relaxing atmosphere.
As you enter the residential area, you can already see their wide landscape garden.

The lawn was neatly trimmed and beautifully green.
There you can also see their two-story family residence, painted in blue and white exterior.

But that's not the focus... the celebration area is located at the back of the property.
To go there, you need to use the side entrance that leads you directly to their private mini-resort guesthouse.

As soon as you walk in, the first thing that'll catch your attention is the blue swimming pool, perfect for both kids and adults.
You'll enjoy it as it has a sea-inspired design.
It isn't just a flat pool with the same depth throughout.
It slopes starting from waist-level water and slowly deepens until it reaches around 6 feet.

But because the pool gradually gets deeper, you will not immediately notice the deeper section.
Like what happened to Tin-Tin, our kid friend. She swam around, kept moving forward, unaware that the floor was slowly dropping.
Before she realized, she could no longer stand or reach the floor.
Thankfully, my cousin Kyle quickly noticed and helped her.
So yeah...
It's dangerous if you're unaware of the depth.
Around the pool area, they arranged rattan beach beds, where you can lounge comfortably.

There's also a wooden table with matching benches under a cute umbrella that can provide shade during the day.

Also, there are two bahay kubo that add a provincial charm to the whole place and also give that resort vibe.

One thing I also appreciate here is that when you rent the place, the entire guesthouse is accessible.

There's an air-conditioned room where you can rest, complete with a bed and a television.

A kitchen that is available to use...
You can cook your own food there and wash dishes.

And of course, there's a clean bathroom inside.

Everything you need for a small gathering is already there.
And as the evening went by, the atmosphere became even more beautiful. 😍
Want to see how it looks? 🤍
The pool and the sunset...
It's so peaceful to look at.

Also, if you're into night swimming, no worries as the pool has its own lights, making it enjoyable even after dark.

All in all, you can't really go wrong renting this place.
It's so accommodating, well-maintained, and perfect for celebrations like ours.
We rented it for ₱5,700 (around $102), and honestly, it was worth every peso.
For that amount, no other guests, no strangers, just our group, just exclusive.
So yeah... It's another memory and hope you enjoy our little tour. ☺️💚
Until my next well spent day...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
